I know I saw this information posted somewhere, but now I can't seem to find it.  XD  I'm trying to plan a breeding project and I need to know how many horses of each gender I will need in order to avoid the inbreeding block in case I can't find useful horses from others later on.  Will 8 of each gender work?  Or should I plan to start with more?  I'm trying to get all my future breeding stock trained up while I wait for the option to breed.  lol

When I add new bloodlines I usually do sets of 8, but would typically do 32 or 64 horses. This way I can ensure that I have enough to last a few generations.
