@Silver Foxie Sox - it's sooooo floofy! I love the fuzziness of the Angora but have always wanted a Giant Flemish. Sadly pets are out at the moment. I haven't recovered after the last time!

Love all  the pics of the baby buns. Do have one question though (not a criticism, genuinely curious); can you keep squirrels as pets??!! Aren't they a bit mischievous for that? I don't think I'd cope with the drama!

@Khatir: You can get sugar gliders, which are kina like squirrels, but squirrels are notorious for not doing well in captivity, and they tend to not survive. :(

@Khatir, weve raised i think around 5 baby squirrels before :) We only take them in if they've been abandoned or injured or something. We always try to get them before their eyes open because then they are more used to you and a little more chill. They are very high strung and love to run around but they are alot of fun! During the day(when we arent home) we keep them in a large bird cage, but when we are home we have them out and running around. We are very lucky that right outside our house is a large oak tree that produces TONS of acorns every year so that keeps them happy :) They are definitely companion animals and love to play. We actually have released some before. We had a bad hurricane come through and we took in an injured squirrel till it got better and we released it :) Its a lot of fun watching them grow ♥ I probably wouldnt recommend it as a first pet, because when they are newborn they have to be fed every 2 hours X( which isnt great for sleeping. Like Silver Foxie Sox said, they are very likely not to survive as they would in the wild. But it just takes alot of time and patience, but they are worth all the hassle!

Also have to be careful of local laws regarding wildlife...some areas you want to call someone who is licensed to do it because you can get in trouble for keeping things like that.  And squirrels are a risk for rabies, too.  But that all depends where you live, not all places have strict laws. Or rabies.
