Only The Strong Survive

Charity
Charity led the horse into the pasture and let her go, watching her buck off momentarily before spotting thethe gelding Ahanu rode. She sighed and went over to him, untacking his saddle and lugging it back up towards the stables. She opened the gate, going out of it and calling to Ahanu "I'm ready to go when you are," though she didnt look at him the entire time.

Ahanu
"Charity, can you come here please?" She was acting weird, but he'd deal with that later. 

Charity
Charity looked at Ahanu, giving him a look like I'm untacking your horse for you- whyyy, but swung the saddle onto the fence anyways and went over. She looked at the horse, and mostly at the horse, not really wanting to make eye contact.

Ahanu
He pat the ground next to him. "I just want to talk for a bit. We haven't really gotten to just, ya know, hang out without things happening." 

Charity
Charity hesitated for a moment, but ended up sitting down next to him. She plucked a blade of glass and started playing with it.

Ahanu
"Is this normal for horses?" He gestured to the mare. "She just came over here and did this by herself." 

Charity
"Um... no... not at all," Charity mumbled, glancing at the horse. "Have you been crying...?"

Ahanu
Ididn'thearthatnopenotatall- "How was your ride?"

Charity
"I would hate you for that if I hadn't been doing that to you all day," she muttered under her breath. She, in return, didn't reply to that question, although she didn't know by what motives caused her to do that.

Ahanu
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Fine. Yeah, I was a little bit." 

Charity
Charity made a small hum in response, but didn't say anything or look at him. 

Ahanu
"So, um, how was your ride?" 

Charity
"It was fine," she muttered, throwing the grass blade away. "Can I go put the tack back now?"

Ahanu
"Oh." He looked down at the mare again. "I-I guess." 

Charity
Charity looked over at Ahanu, sighing slightly. She didn't wsnt to hurt him, especially all for her own emotions, but she didn't want to hurt him either by staying and letting her emotions get a hold of her. Charity was about to get up, but every part of her body i sisted on her staying there, and it had it happen that she froze in place, her mind saying one thing, but the rest of her saying another.
