Only The Strong Survive

Auberon rolled his eyes and laid down on his bed tiredly.

Charity
Charity got up and went to sit down on the edge of Ahanu's cot. "Maybe you should at least rest your body if you don't want to actually sleep," she mumbled. "I don't want you passing out again."

Ahanu 
"Okay. So do you want me to lay down or just lean back?" 

Charity
"Whatever you want," she replied with a smile.

Ahanu
"I'm not sure what I want to do. I'm just trying to make it to night so I can actually get a decent amount of sleep." 

Jade
"Alex, you need to sleep. Does anyone need anything before I go sit on watch?"

Charity
"Just rest, hun. Passing out isn't exactly good," Charity mumbled.

Ahanu
He sighed. "Fine. I'll try to sleep, but don't let anyone get me up until morning unless it's an emergency." He shuffled down into a laying position and blinked up at her. Now that he was awake he didn't feel like sleeping, but he knew he needed it.

Charity
"You don't neccessarily have to actually sleep, just rest your body," she said. "But if you do fall asleep I'll be sure not to let anyone wake you."

Ahanu
"I thought that was the same thing as sleeping. I think I've been running from zombies too long." Ahanu tugged the blanket higher, much to the rats' irritation at the sudden movement. 

Charity
"Well, no. Sleep rests both your mind and you body- resting really just rests your body and sometimes your brain depending in what you're thinking about," Charity pondered.

Ahanu

"Interesting." Ahanu smiled, but it faded after a moment. "I'm sorry I passed out on you."

Charity shrugged. "It's fine."

Bryan
 He shook his head, finally forcing himself to turn away from the window. "I'm good, thanks." Bry shot one last look at the tiny window before he tore his eyes away from it for good and walked over to the bunk bed. He couldn't explain why he felt so compelled to gaze through the stained and crusty glass, but he did, and it was slightly unnerving. He pushed his confused thoughts away as he clambered up the ladder and onto his bunk. You're just on edge. It's nothing.

Jade
She glanced at the window. Alex hadn't even come inside yet, so she dug around. Taking a bar of soap from her bag she sliced off a corner. On a washcloth from a previous stop she put some water, lathering in the soap. And then she attacked the window with cleanliness, scrubbing at the grime. They would need to be able to see out of it. 

Ahanu
"Should I sleep or just lay here? I'm not sure... how close is it to nighttime?"

Charity
Charity looked outside. "Maybe like... two or three hours?"

Ahanu
"I guess... I think I'll try to sleep. If I wake up in a few minutes I won't be sleeping until dark." He twisted to position his pillow and then flopped back down. "Don't go yet?"
