[ADDED] *Selecting specialty with customs

I was thinking if might be nice if people who create custom horses could also select a specialty while creating the horse. That way stats would automate to be a bit better for the chose specialty.

Im on the fence. On the one hand for reasons you've already stated as to why this isnt a good idea however on the other seeing as a player has (potentially) spent Real life money on buying the credits for customs in the first place the

This problem is one reason I stay away from creating customs currently.

I dig through the Equine center (sometimes for days) until I find 8-16 horses that work for my plans. I just spent 3.5 million in the equine center looking for low non-specialty stat horses. After that I deck them out with coat randomizers, color randomizers, and some even get DNA: tweaks. I have no idea which generates more RL money for Abbey.

I don't even want lower non-specialty stats per say (though I wouldn't say no). I would be happy if a normally generated foundation stat profile was ordered suitably for the chosen discipline.

For example, this here is my only custom horse. I created her specifically to pad out my dressage GV line but her base stats came up 23/17/17/19/24: a driving profile. If she'd had exactly the same stats but ordered for dressage, say 17/17/23/24/19 (for example), she would have been perfect.

Almare - that is why I suggested this. When I meant low stats, I meant like anything up to 19 in non specialty. That way it would still be under 60 for non spec.

Hm perhaps selecting a discipline could guarantee at least 20 discipline specific stats vs guaranteeing lower nss? Then it would be more like the conformation rolls and also not too advantageous.

Ah so a combination of both suggestions then perhaps.
