Kahlen 
And I've been cornered. "Okay, you've got me, but I'm not necessarily upset with you."

Auberon
"Then what are you angry about?" Auberon asked, motioning to the checker game for her to do her turn.

Kahlen 
Kahlen moved her piece before she responded. "I'm more frustrated with the turn of events, if anything. First, Kronos is back and people from the past are showing up, which can't be good. In addition to that, I've been having visions I can't remember, campers as missing, which is never great but with Kronos around- it's just not quite ideal."

Auberon
He nudged one of his pieces forward. "Makes sense. Is that it?"

Kahlen 
"Yes," Kahlen said as she jumped over one of Auberon's pieces, removing it from the board. Oh honey I'm just getting started.

Auberon
"So you're telling me you aren't angry that I'm going on a quest?" Auberon was having a hard time believing it. He moved a piece from the starter position.

Kahlen 
Auberon had one of her pieces backed into a corner, so she moved the next one over. "Yes. Well, no. I'm more... concerned about that."

Jimmy
 "That'd be cool. Maybe a slow, steady one?"

Auberon
He made his move, as her piece wasn't in quite the best position. "Mhm. Well, to be fair, it is to search for a mildly concerning individual and a dangerous person." 

Kahlen 
Kahlen sighed as Auberon took another of her pieces. "That is true, but that doesn't mean I have to like it."

Auberon
He sent a confused expression her way. "That was my point. It's not a very likeable thing." Auberon paused. "I think you're more upset than you're letting on."

Kahlen 
"...Maybe," Kahlen said in reply, trying to decide her next move and definitely not avoiding eye contact.

Auberon
He sighed. "Fine. If you are completely honest about how you feel about all this, I'll tell you the one thing I didn't earlier."

Kahlen 
How the tables have turned. "Honestly? I'm terrified something is going to happen to either of you and with the way things went on my quest it's pretty likely and I absolutely can't handle any or both of you getting hurt or maybe even not coming back. And it would probably be my fault because of some stupid dream I can't remember."

Auberon
"Ask a Hypnos kid to tune in while you're dreaming so if you forget they'll remember. If they can do that sort of thing. And I'll come back."
