Rissa twitched her ear. "I don't trust him, either. The ones that try to pretend that they're gonna help us are the worst." she responded. "What about Eiffel? Did you find out anything about her?"

Cobalt

The cheeky mortal mare has actually dared to touch him! 'I need a bath right away!' he thought. He lunged at her with his teeth but she'd moved off and he was left biting down on nothing but air. With a growl he turned away he couldn't be bothered to chase after her today.

Elsa

Elsa stood with Thistle determined to keep him out of trouble, 'if only I could get the herd together away from the watchful eyes of the unicorns' she thought 'then we could make a plan'. An idea came over her... what about basic coded signals that the unicorns won't pay attention to!

Umbra

Umbra took in Tomb's words. Looking around, there were others, both unicorn and horse, watching them. "Bye Eiffel," she said softly before running off, away from the staring eyes. Tomb's hiss rang in her head as her hooves pounded against the ground. Talking to them does nothing but cause problems. Does it always have to be that way? Umbra thought.

Eiffel

Her eyes widened at what was going on in front of her, and then Umbra left. "Bye," Her response was barely audible. Those awful unicorns, She thought, shuddering. At least now I know that they aren't all bad, even though the others are bad enough to make up for it.

Noble
"She certainly has guts, that's for sure, but it doesn't make up for the fact that she is rash." He said, flicking his ears and turning his attention over to the filly with disapproval. "We're going to have to keep a close eye on her, she's going to be the death of us."

Tomb
Tomb glared at Eiffel, and turned around to wander off with no real purpose in mind. He sighed to himself, his eyes locked to the ground.

Rissa:
Rissa nodded, but cast a sideways glance at Noble. I hope he knows I think the same things about him.
"How do you suggest we do that?"

Eiffel

Eiffel looked around, planning. She noticed a thicket in the distance, about a mile away, and wondered why she hadn't seen it before. It had never been important, she guessed. And it probably never will, because I still have to escape first, She reminded herself, but she was getting excited. She scanned the stone wall around them, thinking, until she almost crashed into a tree, swerving around it just in time. Then, she had to stop planning her escape for awhile, in order to avoid looking suspicious, but then the search continued. She walked in no particular order, grazing casually, and then, she saw a wide crack in the stone. It wasn't very big, it had sharp edges and jagged sides, but she was positive a filly could squeeze through, if she crammed herself hard enough.

Asteroid

Pacing, Asteroid studied all the horses carefully, until his gaze locked on Eiffel. She was moving along the wall, and nearly crashed into a short tree. "Hmm.... I wonder what she's up to. Oh well, I suppose it doesn't matter, she'll never escape with all these unicorns around," He muttered.

Vierra:
Vierra walked up beside her mate. "Look at that rebellious excuse for a foal. What is she doing?" the lead mare hissed, glaring at Eiffel. "Surely you're thinking of some way to punish her, Asteroid dear."

Umbra

Umbra looked back and forth between Eiffel as she studied a crack in the stone wall and Vierra as she glared at Eiffel. Eiffel is going to go through the crack and escape! Umbra realized. But Vierra's watching her. She'll never make it. Unless Vierra's attention is taken away from Eiffel. Well, you wanted to help; now you have the chance. "Vierra," Umbra called out, knowing she'd regret it.

Vierra:
Vierra twitched her ear dismissively at Umbra's call. "Not now. We're busy, if you couldn't tell." she snorted. That little mare is going to have to do more that just feebly call out my name if she wants to get my attention.

Umbra

"But it's really important," Umbra insisted. Glancing hopefully up at Vierra, she racked her brain for something that would be important enough to her that it would work as a distraction.

Vierra slowly turned her head to face Umbra. "What... is... it?" she growled, her ears flat. "What do you want? Answer me."

Eiffel

Eiffel glanced up, and noticed the silvery white mare standing behind her, and gulped. "Vierra! I... didn't notice you," She struggled to find words in her surprise. "What do you need?"

Vierra:
Vierra turned around before Umbra could answer, and faced the filly. "Nothing from you." she she said, struggling to remain friendly-acting. It was very hard with all these puny, rebellious horses prancing around.

Eiffel

Late that evening, Eiffel used the poor lighting to slip away. She thought about Thistle as she walked through the short grass, her coat gleaming in the dimness of the setting sun- had he realized she was no longer grazing beside him? She felt a painful twinge of guilt, despite her plans to return for him once things where quiet, after her escape. I should trust Thistle to not tell on me to the unicorns, She scolded herself, slowing her pace. But I don't, and I'm losing time, so I should just carry out the plan, She contradicted, maintaining her hurried pace again. She looked around. No one in sight. She gazed upward. No patrolling unicorns. She gave a grim smile. This was it.
