Landon

Landon chuckled, "Right. Are you even going to that thing?"

Luna

"Actually, I am. Rumors are, there's going to be a stunning cake, and plenty of food that's actually more than decent."

Landon

Landon laughed at Luna's remark. "Is that really the only reason you are going?" He was still skeptical about the whole thing. Loud music, lots of people. 'No thank you.'

Luna

"Nope... There's a big surprise there. Only the people organizing it know what it is... And I know." Luna looked at Landon, like she knew something he didn[t.

Nani shoved books in her locker, ignoring the pile of crumpled winter formal flyers at the bottom of her locker. Were they putting the flyers on or around her locker just to spite her? Nani was becoming increasingly agitated. All these happy formal goers with their dates and talk of dresses and tuxes and limos and decorations.... Ugh. Nani shut the locker door and trudged off to her class. She'd be early, but it was better than hearing about that stupid formal for the thousandth time that morning.

Landon

Landon nodded his head and pushed himself off the lockers to stand straight. "Is that your way of telling me I should go," he asked her playfully. He began to walk off towards his class as he did so. 

Luna

Luna nodded happily, then followed Land on to class.

Alexa:

Alexa, or "Alex" as she prefers to be called, is 5 feet 5 inches tall and of average build. Her dirty blond (as in the color; it's not actually dirty lol) hair is rather scruffy and messy 24/7, and it falls to the top of her shoulders. She has hazel eyes and has "white"/light tan skin with a few freckles. She has several small scars on her arms and legs from various incidents. Alex can often be seen wearing band t-shirts, slightly ripped jeans, white headphones, a beat-down black backpack, and high top Converse shoes. She always wears her signature dark gray sweater. She is considered by many to be a tomboy, and never wears jewelry, makeup, or nail polish (her ears aren't pierced... just a random side note). As far as personality goes, she's pretty much a dork who prefers music over social interaction. She's not very popular, but she's not the target of too many bullies either, so she's okay with sticking to the sidelines. There's more to her true personality than what she lets on, but she hasn't acted much different than her typical persona in years.

Alex had skipped the first few days deliberately. It wasn't that she was nervous or anything. She hated the hustle and bustle on the first couple days of school as kids frantically scrambled around to their classes. Sure, she was going to make a scene being the new kid, but whatever. She would fade into the background quickly; she knew that because she had been skipping the first day since 7th grade.  Why? Because her first year of middle school had been an absolute train wreck, mostly the first week or so. She had been so intent on finding her classes that she had accidentally teleported to all of them. She has teleportation powers, meaning she can teleport herself wherever she pleases... but it happens when she thinks about going to that location, so she sometimes does it on accident. At home, when she's by herself, it's quite convenient. But at school... even heading to the bathroom is a chore. Concentrating on not teleporting yourself all while still trying to walk to the location is tiring.

She looked down at her schedule that she was holding. First period: history class. The blond girl sighed with relief. She actually enjoyed learning about history and mythology, unlike the rest of the boring junk they taught. Before she could get ahead of herself, she took a deep breath and slowly made her way to the classroom, trying her best not to be exited in the slightest; trying not to teleport. Just do your thing. It's just another class, just another day, just another school year. You'll be fine. Just chill, she tried to convince herself.

(OOC: I know they're in high school, but what grade is it? I might have to edit when she started skipping the first days...)

Landon

Landon chuckled before mumbling, "I'll think about it." They had finally made it to the class which only consisted of one other person at that moment. He noticed the girl from the first day of school when he had accidentally plowed her over in the hallway. He gave a soft chuckle to himself before taking his usual seat at the back of the class. 

OOC: I was thinking Sophmore or Junior but I may be wrong.

Alexa

Alex walked into her first class of the day. There was currently only one other person in there: a shorter female. Flashing the girl a forced smile, she sat down in the back corner of the room and watched as an attractive male sat down in a seat in the back row as well, almost the same time as her. He was good looking, but she highly doubted she would develop a crush on him- she rarely got crushes on people these days, since she was so used to doing things alone. Cautiously taking out her phone, she slid on her headphones and started nonchalantly listening to an Imagine Dragons playlist.

Luna

Luna walked into class behind Landon. She saw a new girl, and thought to herself, What a mess. She seriously needs to just get it together. Well, if she likes being messy, I won't complain, since the reason I feel irritated is since I'd be dying if my hair did that all the time. She sat down to the right of Landon, and studied the new girl.

Alexa

Alex watched as another girl walked in and sat by the boy. She looked like one of those popular goth kids... what did they call themselves? Oh right, emo. Alex rolled her eyes. This should be entertaining, she thought, huffing under her breath.
"Uh, hi," she said, waving at the emo-looking girl. Just try to be... normal, for once in your life.

Landon

Landon smirked when he heard thoughts, knowing they had come from Luna. He glanced over to the new girl giving a slight smile, "Hey." He knew she probably wasn't speaking to him, though it didn't hurt to be nice. He looked back over to Luna, lowering his voice just so she could hear him, "Would you at least pretend to be nice?" 

Alexa

Turning down the volume on her phone slightly, she turned and smiled back at the boy. He seemed friendly enough, and probably wouldn't mind her asking him a few questions... at least, not as much as others would mind. She didn't like starting up conversations, but she needed information.
"Hey... what are we learning about right now? I'm new, but that's quite obvious," she asked him, trying to end the question on a joke of sorts. God, I'm so bad at this.

Luna turned toward the new girl. "It's History right now," said Luna. "At least it will be once everyone else gets here. Including the teacher. I'm Luna, by the way."
