#65416 Posted on 2016-09-04 04:46:59 I can't stop talking about this horse, so I just had to make a topic about him. People who know me well, know that my favorite horse was Sjaak, a Haflinger gelding. Since yesterday, Sjaak is "kind of" out and Apie is in! So, I want you to meet Apie! Apie's full name is Apriori, but that's so long and difficult and that's why we call him Apie. An "aap" is translated a monkey, so we kind of call him monkey all the time. Apriori is 13 years old and reached the highest dressage level in our country (we have B, L, M, Z and after that you have Grand Prix and all, but he reached the Z). He is at our stable for 1,5 week and I was asked to ride him. I didn't know him, but he turned out to be so awesome! I was asked to ride him for a couple more weeks, because I have a very light hand (you have to ride him with loose reins, otherwise he puts his chin on his chest and that is of course very bad). So, I'm thrilled to ride this special horse! Meet Apie! (my eq is not good here, I was leaning way too much forward and that's not what I do usually and I have no idea what I was doing here; probably stopping him from going forward into the camera).
