Go ahead and laugh (Character question)

Alright, I've been scoping out other people's Charrie websites and dangit, I need more pretend ponehs. (I already play 2 horsie SIM games and I collect models, but still...) so please, please don't laugh too much...

How do you come up with ideas for your characters?

I know some people base their characters from favorite superheroes, songs, themes, books, movies; Just anything that inspires you I guess. My first was Isolde and for a good while she didnt have a name. I just created her when I was first getting into Photoshop so she was easy to color lol I think I finally gave her a name after three or so years. And by the way, you dont need to have a bagillion charries... XD I only have 3

I usually get a lot of ideas from players on here. I've tried to mimic Kite's designs and Zell's too. I LOVE their designs, and they're constantly making them so it's a constant bank-breaker and idea creator lol. I really like natural characters, so I usually just go mess around on Google images and look at pictures of horses and I eventually get 50 tabs deep lol.

Honestly if I see a character for sale that I fall in love with I get it and give it a history lol others just come to me at random tones, it's weird.

I'm like Michaella, I see something I like and buy it. The only horses I have that I have put real hard thought into are..my RL horse, my RL horse's best bud (who was almost my horse), and a neglected horse down the street that my horse loved. I made an equisona for myself, but otherwise I go for the unique colors or designs that catch my eye...

The only two horses I made out of my like, 10 is Phantom and Chandresh. Phantom I made because of a really cool unrealistic you I saw, Chandresh was a mix between a blue corn roan and a purple corn roan lol.

I have almost 100 charries. I gave plans for more... but anyways to answer your question, the majority of mine are based off of two things: superheroes and Once Upon a Time. Some of them are just designs inspired by the color scheme, like my Bathorse or Robin characters, while some come as close to the orginal characters as one can with changing humans to horses like my Spitfire character.
