Sirius Mahan
Sirius looked at his sister, who was looking around at all the Muggles rushing past. "Well, what are you waiting for? The barrier is right there. Oh, I see, you want the oldest to show you how to do it." He grinned at her, took his luggage and rushed forward towards the solid barrier between platforms 9 and 10 at King's Cross. But he never crashed into it. Sirius looked around, having arrived at Platform 9 and 3/4. He smiled and glanced at all the Wizard families gathered there. He looked back to see if his sister was coming.

Olivia Mahan
Olivia followed her brother through the barrier, coming out and stopping in her tracks. She moved to the side and placed her luggage cart beside the barrier for her parents to see when they came to the platform. Right now, she had one thing to deal with. She spotted her brother, standing close by and grinning at her. She sprinted at him, watching his grin change to mock horror, and feeling pleased when she knocked him over and heard him gasp for breath. Her pleasure faded as he began to laugh. She punched him in the arm when they had both stood. "You are three minutes older, Sirius! We're twins, for Hogwart's sake!" She waved at the train. "Speaking of Hogwarts, let's hurry up!" She looked back to see her parents approaching, pushing Olivia's luggage cart. She grabbed it from them, pecked each on the cheek, and turned to Sirius.
Her mother stooped, pulled the two into a hug, and whispered for Sirius to be good.

Jennifer Black

Now arriving the Hogwarts express, she looked around curiously. There were so many children, and she felt a little uncomfortable. She was technically alone in her mind. She had no friends yet, and wasn't very interested. It was good to have a wing man or two though. She looked around another time, seeing two children, a boy and a girl, arrive. She wanted to say hi, but couldn't. She looked away and cracked her neck. "Guess it is just you and me Darals." she said to her owl in the cage that she picked out. She thought of her parents and it made her smile. She liked hearing the stories of her 'ancestor' Serious, and the legend of Harry Potter and You Know Who. And how her grandma was on the side of You Know Who. She began to respect Serious so much, that she began to despise Malfoy's father. Now she was back in reality, looking at a crowd of people who she had no idea ever existed. She put her head down and let her long curly, black locks of whiney hair fall into her face. She started at the wand case inside her luggage. "I am going to learn so much.... And I will do something to change this world."

Henry Longbottom

As he stumbled upon the brick wall where he would disappear, he dealt a tinge of fright in his stomach. He looked at the other kids, and they just ran into the wall... but instead of crashing, they vanished. He wasn't convinced that he would make it. It was a wall for Pete sake. Henry ran as fast as he could and... WAM.... He ran into another student. He had a twin sister. "I'm sorry. I am not used to this." He said, picking up his luggage.

Kenny Rendolf

Kenny looked at his surroundings. A lot of people just like he expected. He had just arrived and didn't want to make contact with anyone yet, so he double checked every thing he had. Everything was there. Kenny turned around to a girl with Red hair. "Hi" he said, but was ignored by the fact she was talking to someone else. He turned away and got closer to the train tracks. A man told him to back away, and that it was too dangerous to be this close.

Sirius looked up at the boy who had ran into him. He burst out laughing, helping the kid pick up his luggage. Poof, Sirius's owl, squawked in his cage. Sirius patted her once before turning to the boy. "It's my first year, too. See you around!" He turned and set off for the train.

Olivia scowled at her brother for a moment, but pretty soon smiled. "See you later," she told the boy before dashing over to her brother. "I am NOT sitting with you," she declared. He cast her a comical look of confusion. She punched him. "I mean it!" He stopped walking, grabbed her to make her stop, and bowed. "Of course you did, your majesty." Olivia frowned and tore her arm from his grip. "Go bow to some other girl," she demanded. A grin passed over her face. "You never know what might happen." They both broke into laughter. "Alright, see you Sirius." "See you, Olive," Sirius called. Olivia made a face at him. Walking away, Olivia boarded the train and found a seat in a compartment.

Sirius looked around, then he too boarded the train. He sat in an empty compartment and looked out the window. Spying his mom and dad he waved.

"Oh my goodness, Draven! Would you hurry up? We are gong to be late for the train!" Yasmine exclaimed to her older brother as she pushed her cart desperately toward the wall that led then to platform 9 3/4. Everywhere she heard muggles calling to their loved ones, and chattering, which only seemed to make her anxiety grow. The more she worried about it, the more it seemed like everything was out to get her. Crowds standing in her way, adults ignoring her pardons, and such. It didn't help that her sweet brother was following at his own leisure pace with a content smile on his face as she freaked out. She looked down at her precious Sphinx cat with a shake of her head, reaching out to pet the cat's bare skin, sighing deeply. "Why must he torture me?" She grumbled to the cat as she pulled up in front of the wall.

"You worry too much, my sweet sister." Draven said in his usual soft voice, pushing his cart beside hers. "I have not been late once, just relax." He eyed the wall in front of them, taping his fingers against the metal bars of his cart thoughtfully. "You remember what I told you, correct? Run straight ahead, don't look back, and you'll be on the other side in no time." He leaned his head down to meet Yasmine's eye level, and winked playfully. "See you on the other side!" He ran forward, causing his poor owl's wings to flap frantically to gain balance. One moment he was running toward the wall, the next he was gone. Yasmine giggled softly, and ran after him.

Jennifer Black

Jennifer now boarded the train. She looked at her pet and frowned as she emptied an empty room. It has two seats across from each other. She sat on the one closest to the back and pulled out her owl cage. "Darals? Do you think this year will be like Harry Potters? I don't know what will happen. It is Hogwarts, I suppose." she looked up and put her hands in the cage of her owl. She didn't think anyone would enter the room with her. Before she got into the car, she had passed the twins again. She smiled finally and looked out the window. "They seemed nice to that chubby boy. I wonder if they would like to be, acquaintances?" She laughed. "Gee, I am such a worrier."

Henry Longbottom

Henry smiled at the twins and followed them into the train. "Mind if I sit with you? I don't know of anyone else would sit with me..." He asked. "My toad croaks and gets annoying." He blushed at the little toad. "It 's sort of a family thing. Toads." It was just the boy. "The name is Henry, Henry Longbottom. My grandpa is Neville Longbottom."

Kenny Rendolf

Kenny entered the train and into a car. There was no one there, but across onto the other side of the train was a lonely girl. He thought of sitting with her, but thought it would be better if he didn't, so he stayed out. He looked out the window.

Lauralee Lovegood
Lauralee stood at the open door to the Hogwarts Express. She knew good and well that she should be boarding, and that she would be holding up the progress of the students behind her, but she couldn't help her taking a moment to pause. As soon as she boarded that train, her life would never be the same. It would be filled with magic, danger, and worst of all, new people. Laura was horribly lacking when it came to making friends. She didn't know what it was, but she was quite sure that it had something to do with her. Looking down, the blonde took in her appearance. Her hands pulled in the sleeves of her baggy, lavender sweater; her hole-filled jeans; her long, tangled blonde hair. Lee got the impression that she looked more like a hobo rather than a future wizard. Oh well, she thought, and stepped foot inside the train.

Gareth Grey
Gareth sat at a window seat, gazing out at the first years as they boarded the train. He smirked. Though they were fellow students, all he saw was fresh meat, new subjects to his pranks. He had a habit of picking on the new students each year, scare them a little, you know, the usual. Grey pulled his wand out of the sleeve of his jacket and pulled out his wand.

Gwendolyn Weasley
Well this is just lovely. Gwendolyn's day was not exactly off to a good start. She'd been quite hesitant about running through the barrier that led to Platform 9 3/4; she'd been sure that it'd been another of her grandfather, George Weasley's, pranks. It'd seemed like something he'd do, but for some reason, she'd listened to his comforting tone, and before she knew it, she was out of the muggle world and now sat aboard the Hogwarts Express. However, she hadn't been on board long before her cat, Fred, had run off. Frowning, the red-head hopped to her feet and headed off down the long aisle in the direction the feline and scampered. Eventually, Gwen came to a cart full of other students, first years, she presumed. "Excuse me, but have you seen my cat? He's about this tall," she held her hands apart to give them an idea of Fred's height, "and he growls instead of meowing. Rather strange little bloke..." She let her voice trail off as she looked around the group. "I'm Gwen, by the way. Gwen Weasley."

Jennifer Black

As she looked out the window, a cat pounced onto her lap. Startled, she jumped up. She carefully grabbed the cat and looked outside. "Excuse me? Is this anyone's cat?" She said in an English accent. Jen looked around and just stood there until someone came to retrieve him or her. She cracked her neck again and leaned against the compartment.

Kenny Rendolf

Kenny spotted a girl that was searching. He smiled at her, and said. "I saw a cat run that way." He replied, looking at the girl with long, beautiful black wavey hair.

(I had Sirius talking to Gwen but it took me forever. I'll just keep it and see if it works LOL)

Sirius grinned at Henry. "Longbottom? You're grandpa's famous!" He patted the seat across from him. "Go ahead and sit, Mr. Famous!" He looked around, then leaned conspiratorially towards Henry. "I hear there are kids from all the famous families, but I haven't seen anyone who looks like a Potter." He leaned back, a grin still plastered on his darkened face. A girl appeared at the door. Sirius jumped up, thought of his sister, and bowed low. "I am honored to meet a Weasley," he declared with flair. Straightening, he appeared to ponder about her cat for a moment. "No, I haven't seen a cat. I'll help you look if you'd like." His ever-present grin was on his face. I wonder if she knows George Weasley personally. Man, that'd be so cool!

Olivia looked out the window, wondering if Sirius had met anyone yet. Spying her parents, she waved. A nervous knot in her stomach attested to her worries. What if I don't make friends? What if I get bad grades? She nervously pulled out her Potions book and pored over it for a moment. Closing the book, she decided to see if there were any kids who needed a seat. She stood and went to the compartment door. Sure enough, a first year girl with blonde hair was walking down the aisle. "Hello," Olivia called out. "Need a seat?"

Henry Lonbottom

Henry sat down and laughed. "I guess. He is more famous about his mess ups though." He looked up at the girl. "I just saw it run that a way." He said pointing down the train. "In fact, th at is why my toad is silent. He hates cats." He cracked up laughing. "Did you know my Grandpa is thinking about coming to help with the school?!" He laughed, "I know for a fact they will avoid him." He cracked up so hard.

Lauralee Lovegood
Hearing a voice, Lauralee jerked her head in the direction from which the sound had come. A girl stood in the doorway of one of the compartments. The girl had brown, shoulder-length hair and brown eyes to match. She seemed nice enough. Laura smiled sheepishly. "Hi," she waved rather awkwardly to the girl. "Yes, thank you," the blonde said before stepping inside the compartment. "I'm Lauralee Lovegood."

Gwendolyn Weasley
Gwendolyn laughed at the boy's antics. "The honor's all mine," she said, curtsying. "Yes, I should think that I'd like your help...but I don't believe that I know your name." Gwen stared off into the distance as if lost in thought, her index finger on her chin. "No, that's right, I don't. So, what is it, then?" Upon hearing shouts of 'a cat went that way' and 'is this anyone's cat?' the red-head peeked out into the hallway. She glanced down at the other boy in the compartment after looking the way he'd pointed. "Thank you. And...how unfortunate. About the toad, I mean." With that, Gwendolyn grabbed Sirius's hand and started off down the aisle.

Sirius Mahan
"My name's Sirius. Sirius Mahan." He laughed when he began to be dragged down the aisle. He was curious as to what her cat looked like. He liked this Weasley. She appreciated his jokes. He passed his sister and called, "Hey, Olive," before he passed her. He now put his feet into action so that he wouldn't need to be dragged by Gwen.

Olivia Mahan
Olivia gaped when Sirius ran by with a girl. And she was just now meeting someone! "I'm Olivia Mahan," she replied to Lauralee, pointedly closing the compartment door behind her so she wouldn't need to deal with Sirius when he ran back. She sat down and looked at Lauralee. "First year, too?"

Yasmine Woods
Not long after making it to the correct platform had the brother and sister handed off their luggage, and step onto the train. In Yasmine's arms sat her naked cat, watching everything with a watchful yellow eyes. "This is crazy, so many places to explore. Right, Atum?" She whispered to her feline side kick. She them looked up at her brother, Draven, for direction, and he just waved ahead to an area for them to sit.

Draven Woods
"Now, Yas. Don't go wandering where you aren't supposed to. There are rules." Draven eyed his sister and her mischievous cat warily. "If I learned you have been misbehaving, I'm telling Dad immediately." He didn't like threatening but he knew it was necessary in order to keep the girl straight. He placed a hand on her shoulder, and guided over to an inside seat while he took the window seat.
"Besides, I can't watch you all of the time. I have Quidditch, and a responsibility. Maybe you'll be lucky, and join the house of Hufflepuff." The tall, kind boy smiled at her affectionately in a warm brotherly fashion.

Lauralee Lovegood
Lauralee watched as a boy and girl ran by. The boy said something to the girl in front of Laura, but she couldn't quite make out what he'd said. Shrugging, the blonde took a seat. She smiled as the girl turned around, introducing herself. "Nice to meet you," the blonde said, looking up at Olivia. She was quite glad when the brunette had closed the door; it meant less interaction with any other possibly less-friendly strangers. Lee nodded in response to Olivia's question. "I'm afraid so. Honestly, I don't think I'll be that good at all of this magic stuff. I have a habit of mixing up my words, and that more than likely leads to disaster. What about you, though?"

Gwendolyn Weasley
Gwendolyn smiled back at the boy behind her. "Nice to meet you, Sirius Mahan." As the two made their way down the aisle, they passed another girl, whom Sirius referred to as 'Olive', though she didn't seem too happy about it. Gwen made no mention on the matter, however, and continued the trudge onward. She noticed Sirius beginning to move his feet so that he was no longer being dragged, though the red-head kept hold of his hand. She stopped suddenly in front of one of the compartments and stared in, her dark eyes wide. Inside the compartment sat Fred, Gwendolyn's fluffy, green-eyed tuxedo cat. He stared back at her from the lap of another girl, giving Gwen one of his signature deep-throated growls. "There you are, you daft animal!" The red-head rushed over and scooped Fred out of the girl's lap. "I'm sorry about that!" Then, without another word, Gwendolyn walked back to where Sirius was standing. "This is Freddie," she said, picking up one of the feline's paws to wave at the boy.

Sirius Mahan
Sirius laughed and mimicked the cat. "Hewo Fweddie," he said in a baby voice. He turned back to Gwen. With another elegant bow, he said, "Miss Weasley, would you like to join us in my compartment for the train ride?"

Olivia Mahan
"Oh, I think I'll do okay. As long as Sirius doesn't mess me up." She frowned and looked out the window. "Oh, Sirius is my twin, by the way. He annoys me so much! He calls me 'Olive' all the time." She turned back to Lauralee. "So, do you have any pets?"
