Buying credits

So I went to try and buy some credits and my only options are to log in with an existing PayPal account, or create a new PayPal account. The option to just pay with a card without an account doesn't come up (that's how I normally pay for things that only accept PayPal - I will not create an account, I got rid of them quite some time ago for good reason). Anyone know why I can't pay with just using a card through their system? I've never encountered the lack of ability to pay with just using them as a processor before. :/

Alternately, is there some other way to pay?? I'd like to buy credits but without the 'pay without an account' option I can't.

So I clicked on the Paypal button and just did "pay with card" and it gave me the input option for my card info. I didn't try anything because I don't want to purchase credits (and I'm also too lazy to get a card) but at least for that part it didn't ask me to log in. Are you getting that far or is it stopping you beforehand? I'm trying from mobile so I don't know if there are differences between that and computer.

Also don't quote me on this but I believe one of the biggest reasons we use Paypal, and so many sites like eBay do, is just because it's supposed to be easier for both the buyer and seller to be protected. Seller gets the money or I believe can make a claim, buyer gets product or can make a claim, etc. So I don't know if anything else would be added. I know next to nothing about Paypal or why EV uses it though so I could certainly be wrong lol

I was able to buy them using my phone. I still wonder why it wouldn't give me that option on the computer though.

Well, whatever, I got them, haha.

Agggh. So I get the 'pay with card' option on my phone, BUT... since I use prepaid cards I can't use it for EV because it says right on the card 'valid in US only' (and the payment is UK-bound). I tried twice before I even noticed that.

...

I suppose it wasn't meant to be. Or at least not today anyway, lol.
