I was thinking the Chronicles of Narnia didn't too, but it has been while so idk. A Wrinkle in Time by I don't remember, I don't believe had any either, though it is part of series (which I never read any of the other books) so I can't say the same for the rest, you really can read it alone and not feel like you are missing anything (I didn't realize it was a series until... last year I think it was and I first read it around 2003/2004ish).

Thank you Wonder Wiki and Iosteh!! :D Iosteh, I totally get that!! I love to read and it is soo hard to find nice books. I will see if I can find any others I enjoyed.

Magic is Awesome, Did you know she is making another in December?? I am so excited, I have not read Rise Of the Titans yet, but I will when I can. If you want to talk about the first 4 I would love to! :D

This is actually a really good idea! I am a HUGE book nerd, though I haven't been reading as much as I would like lately... some books I suggest are:

Harry Potter by J.K Rowling
Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys (NOT 50 Shades of Gray, and also this one is really sad..)
The Mortality Doctrine Series by James Dashner
Divergent Series by Veronica Roth
Firehouse by Diane Lee Wilson

One book I do not suggest (especially if you don't like romance), is the Twilight series. It is very popular, but it seems to be saying that girls are worthless without a guy. idk that's just my opinion, but whatever XD

Read on, my fellow nerds! :)

I'm currently reading The Omnivore's Dilemma. It's about where our food come from. It's really interesting...

Two titles I loved but aren't super common are:
Beneath a marble sky - can't remember the author but it's set in India during the time the Taj mahal was built.

The long walk home - I think there is a movie based on it, but a memoir by a man who escaped from a Russian work camp

You wanting a GOOD series...well, i have 2. Though their probably NOT what you'd expect.

Wings Of Fire is an on-going series. Ive found it to be quite good.
The Forgotten Realms: The Legend Of Drizzit is another on-going series that has both Comic Book or Regular Book types. I know the E-Books are like regular books, paper-backs im unsure.

Edit: Also good, is the Pegasus series. Im ALL over it.

Been meaning to update you guys on the Apollo book. I found quite a bit of it hilarious and while Percy doesn't really star in this book he appears enough that it was satisfying. I did feel the description was a bit misleading as it made me think that they weren't going to know he was Apollo but rather one of his demi god children, but oh well XD

The 5th Wave was a pretty good book as was the sequel (The Infinite Sea). The third and final book The Last Star just came out so I'll read it soon but hopefully it holds up as the last book.

As the queen of dystopian young adult literature I would also recommend the Ashfall trilogy by Mike Mullen. It takes place in Iowa (home state pride) and it's basically "what would happen if Yellowstone (a supervolcano) erupted?" As the series went on it got slightly less believable for me (SUPERVOLCANOS COULD HAPPEN) but that was alright.

I will admit though sometimes I dream about what's happening in my life and Ashfall gave me nightmares that I was an apocalypse survivor so if you're sensitive I would probably read neither of these trilogies lol
