What breed/ 7 nonbreeds to colour

#35826 Posted on 2016-05-02 11:37:42

Hello,

I unlock my spare account today and within that where 7 horses with no breed. Now I decided to make them appaloosa's, most probably, but other creations of other breeds are also welcome, since I did not completely decide on appy's yet. But I don't know if I can just choose a coat colour, or if I can choose anything including markings. If so, please show me some designs on custom creation. I kinda want them all to be at least champagne. I might give those whose designs I really like a small price. I do not like blankets though, or you must be able to give me a real good one with that marking.
So please enjoy customizing some horses for me and helping me out.
The reason I posted this with my main account is because my spare is only lvl 1.

with no breeds, you can choose all aspects of color for them.
appaloosa are an awesome breed to choose, though there's currently a bug that cancels out overo/splash/tobiano when they're all on the same horse :(

Well, I wouldn't want those three together on one horse, I prefer the LplpPATN2PATN2 over all appaloosa markings though and I would love to have some champagne horses.

What breed are you really wanting? It's your choice. :)

I want the appaloosa specific markings actually.. And I find miniatures too small, so I don't think any other breed has those markings. I find all breeds pretty except for miniatures, simple because in my eyes shetlands are about 85cm (like my own ponies), so that would make miniatures too small in this game.

@Kahzie, it's the overo genes fault. Go look it up on the customize horse.

Minis are adorable, but I prefer a horse I can ride. :)

I have no idea what to suggest in marking wise, as I have about 5 no-breed horses on my Paint Account, and will switch them to either Paints, QH's, or Appaloosas.

yes, i know that it's caused by the overo. i was just letting you know that there's a bug in the coloration of appies :)

i personally like red, black, and brown based dilutions. flaxens are quite pretty on the appy art, as is silver.

my preferred appy pattern is spotted blanket, but the trouble with making pretty customs is that all the different potential combos of LP/PATN1/PATN2 are so hard to predict in future foals :P

a flaxen chestnut splash with a spotted blanket is eye catching...throw in a dab of tobiano and you got one stunner of an appy!!

This is what I love:

Ivory gold champagne with flaxen, zilver, rabicano,TbSb,PATN2PATN2,Lplp interrupted stripe.

Oh, I just saw sable champagne also available, I just love that colour xD

I might not use PATN1 at all in my horses, don't like how it covers everything up haha

You can't use brown or champagne when assigning colors to horses that were previously nobreeds. I was a little dissapointed by that. But you definitely can choose the markings. All the Appies on this account were previously Belgians.

though i can't confirm champagne, i know you can make no breeds brown, since i made several of my no breeds into seal brown gypsies vanners

edited: apparently the brown option is no longer available. i'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but i've reported it in case it is :)

Oh, well I guess I will keep them locked forever then, then it's pointless for me. Since the brown and the champagne are the only new colours in Appaloosa's. I won't use these horses then, might as well lock up that account again :(

I won't use them, since they were like low-statted Niners, Hanoverians etc before, also worth nothing in stats. I might as well just unlock them and wait for them to die of neglect.

Thanks for checking on the brown and champagne thingy, guess I can never make a sable champagne for real now >.<

you can still use the coat color applicator to make them brown or champagne, if that's something you'd want to do :)

I'm not sure what patterns they came in pre-recode, but all the paints (overo, splash, tobiano, and sabino) are all really nice too!
