Why Do People Hate PewDiePie?

I have noticed that many children dislike PewDiePie, a famous youtuber, and my opinion one of the most awesome youtubers. Here are some reasons as to why people live him:
He is attractive
Has a sense of humor
Is quite nice
Very respectful
Takes care of himself
Has a dog
Has a dog named Edgar
Has a pug
Has a fat pug
(Hehe, lol)
Here is a reason people don't like him:
He does something and gets money.................. speechless.................

Now, I am sorry if this is not appropriate to put in the forums, since I am clearly taking PewDiePie's side until I find out a clear reason why people hate him. This is the only social game I got, I don't have a YouTube account or Facebook, pintrest, snapchat, music.ly or anything. Just EV. Can y'all help me?

You may be too young to really "get" it or aknowledge it, but he's made horrible jokes about touchy subjects, specifically types of abuse and tells people who are really hurting to "get over it". He is NOT respectful.

I have NO issue with people who "do something and get money". I watch Game Grumps, Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, all of them regularly, and though they've said iffy stuff in the past, they acknowledge and apologize. Pewdiepie ignores it.

He's also REALLY annoying. His voices are awful...but that's my opinion :/ I got halfway thru Amnesia before switching to Mark because I got sick of Pewds.

You can like him, but don't say people hate him for no reason.

I think a lot of atleast younger kids problem is the games he plays. Lets be honest they aren't always exactly kid friendly xD Also, yes the swearing hem.
I actually don't mind how much moolah he makes especially since a lot of it goes to charity. And also, if you made a lot of money of something you would be happy, he does actually work quite hard in a couple ways.

My brother loves him but yeah I don't and it's not because he's making a ton of money, it's because of the reasons Zell stated. And I find him annoying and very immature for his age and being his age acting the way he does just kills me. And his name does bug me but he can have whatever name be wants and do what he wants but just like Zell said, don't say there is no reason people dislike him.

I understand why people would dislike Pewds, he's over-glorified, there are many other youtubers who outshine him IMO. I'm not fond of his swearing either and his humour isn't really to my taste.
However my sister loves him! So each to their own :)

I used to watch him but his video style has changed a lot in the past couple of years and I started disliking the videos, not him personally. Current Pewdiepie is just not as good as old Pewdiepie, I recognise people change but he changed for the worse imo. I don't really care about what he says or does since everyone's entitled to their own opinion and shouldn't have to mollycuddle everyone with what they say (I know a few of my opinions would probably start a few fights given what some people have said on here before but nvm), but I do appreciate that he uses his fan base to raise money for charities and donates a lot.

I watch Jacksepticeye and Markiplier and a couple of others for the most part when I feel like watching playthroughs because I like their presenting style and it's just something in the background to listen to, and occasionally funny when you listen in at odd times. But watching youtube is becoming a thing of the past for me so any arguments I see over youtuber preference is just petty and pointless, there's better things to argue about than why you hate/love someone.

Everything Zell said is spot on. Plus most of the reasons you listed aren't really valid reasons to like someone.
1. Not everyone finds him attractive, I personally don't.
2. Literally 4 of the reasons you listed are about his dogs, not him.
3. A lot of people in this world can take care of themselves, it's not something extremely rare or anything.

Whoa! Lol, I didn't know almost everyone here dislikes him. I have only seen a little of his videos. He was quite respectful to the fanart of him... in which most were horrible. I, on the hand, love his voices, lol. Though, I understand, I guess there are lots of flaws with him like cussing, (especially the f-word), inappropriate videos and such. Sadly, it doesn't bother me, but it does to others, and I respect that. I just got a little angry (and confused), that people were hacking, getting upset at him because he works to get money..... I understand now though. 😉 Thanks you all! XD. Plus, I listed four about his dog because that is one of the reasons I love him X'D

Ruki, Pewdiepie is a youtuber with a focus on gaming on his channel.

I prefer Jesse Cox when it comes to youtubers and gaming, I just generally watch music, cooking things, and TYT personal.

I lost all respect for Tobuscus recently though. (There are some..questionable accusations, that evidence has been pointing to being true) Which is sad, because I DID enjoy watching him from time to time, but I will no longer be doing so.

Pewdiepie, I just always found to be a...well..[censored]. He's very immature and just grates on my nerves.

Wow, just read an article on what happened with Tobuscus. I've never watched any of his videos, but it's horrifying to me that people like that have such a large influence on social media.

I personally like Pewdiepie's videos. Sure, a lot of them are annoying, and he's not particularly good at games (really annoying when you can see when he makes an obvious stuff up). I don't mind his sense of humour, but he swears so much! You can't divide the excessive swearing from Pewds, but it wouldn't be too tragic to tone down every second word being a swear to maybe every third word. he does come off as quite immature, and does make jokes about inappropriate topics (though I haven't seen this happen in any of his more recent videos).

We all have different foods that we like and don't like, and it's the same for youtubers. some youtubers I can watch for ages without wanting to rip their vocal chords out, others not so much. so why argue over youtubers like we might argue about avocado being nice or not (TEAM AVOCADO FOR THE WIN!). oh yeah, because we don't have much else better to do. carry on folks :)

He's kinda… loud. Many people also don't like him because they think that making gaming videos is not a valid way to earn money. (Sorry if anyone above made these points, there's so many comments and I'm not going through all of them)
