New in town :)

Hi Everyone -

My name is John, but I go by Prizz. I checked out Equiverse a year or two ago, but never really did anything with it. I rediscovered it again recently and thought I'd dig in.

The one thing I really admired here was the Rescue Center. My daughters and I spend a lot of volunteer time at our local Rescue Center, so that aspect really appealed to me. In fact, I sort of made it my theme here. Most of my horses are Rescue animals, my stable is named Second Chance Ranch, I started a group for those who've adopted from the Rescue Center, etc, etc.

I certainly won't end up with the finest animals getting most of my stock from the Rescue Center, but that's ok. I feel like it's good karma to adopt unwanted horses - even if they are just pixilated ones.

In real life I will never have the space or time for a horse, so Equiverse plays out that fantasy for me. I am proud to say that every pet that I do own came from a local Rescue Center.
