Tattoo Design

So my boyfriend recently asked me if I could assist with his tattoo design. Based of what he has seen that he likes I came up with this as well as adding some things that I thought would work well and what not...anyways this is the first draft and i thought before I did a second draft, I would ask you lovely people for some critique.

Anyways...I'm looking for good points and things to improve

This was my first time drawing a dagger and a skull so help on those would be helpful also this was my first ever attempt at something like a tattoo design...

I really like this. But I do think it should be less busy :)

I think putting it on GIMP,PS, or Paint would help with making the lines more visible and such but this is a pretty cool design!
