Hello everyone!

Now that EV has reached a point that it’s not being developed any further, there has been some questions concerning the Moderators. Especially since there wasn't an official confirmation as to if we were sticking around or not. 

 

Yes, we are still here!




EV is generally a pretty quiet game with a great community that is very supportive. Many players are very willing to help and will actively reach out to new players who are just starting out. As a majority, we treat each other with respect which is why we all love it here.


Because of this, us mods usually check in periodically and aren’t around all the time since we are all adults with full time jobs. Oftentimes we’ll also trade off, so one person may be more active one week, and another mod more active the next.
That said, sometimes there is something that arises that you think a moderator should be aware of, or you have a question and you’re wondering, what’s the best way to reach us?


One way is through private messaging- this works great if you see a mod currently online or your message isn't as urgent. If you happen to message a mod who is offline, they may not see it immediately as oftentimes we’ll just check the forums without logging in throughout the day to make sure everything’s still running smoothly.


Ticket (Help>Game Support> Submit New Ticket)- Tickets are the #1 way to reach any mod available in game. Tickets are most commonly used if there are issues with another player breaking the rules or misbehaving, though they can also be used for questions that only a mod can answer. The ticket system is like a messaging system that all of us moderators are on, so instead of sending a private message to one mod who may have just popped off for the week, you can send a ticket and the next mod online will see it. (Please be sure to use the forums for general gameplay related questions)


Discord- Players over the age of 13 have the ability to join the Equiverse Discord. Some moderators have discord on their mobile devices and can see the conversation while away from the computer. If there is an issue that requires immediate assistance, the fastest way to find us is to @mention us in chat.

Please keep in mind that you cannot private message moderators on discord about major player or game issues happening in game. We log and track issues through the messaging system so if there is an issue in the future we can refer back to it. We also have no idea if your discord name is the same as your EV name, as anyone can say they’re someone else.
 

Just because this game is not receiving updates does not in any way mean that the game rules don’t apply anymore - they most certainly do! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you see someone breaking them.
