I have a bunch of horses that I am trying to sell. No interests so far so I am considering retiring them via the rescue center for $300 each. My question is what will happen to their records? Will they appear on my former horse list so I can delete them?

Yep, retired horses show on your deceased horses list. The only time this doesn’t happen is if you left them in the rescue and they were deleted by the game after 3 days.
