I need advice for buying the Grey Gene Tweak

#262044 Posted on 2022-11-13 17:28:31

I have a filly who has the GG gene, her Dam is GG, and her sire Gg. I love her colors and posted a picture of what she'll look like as an Adult With and without Gray on this topic. I have 2 credits that the game gave me for progressing 28 days in a row yesterday. Of course, this is how much the gene tweak costs and I love the filly's colors, and I don't want her to gray out, plus I don't want a herd of entirely gray mustangs, so I think I'll tweak her genes but before I buy it I must know; How frequently does EV give credits? If it's very rare, then I'll just buy a gg mustang. Please help me :(

EV only gives you credits for free every 28 days you progress in a row. If you do art, you can do commissions for EVC. If not then you just have to buy them with paypal or for EVD

I wouldn't recommend using a grey gene tweak personally, they're pretty easy to breed out. You could always buy/use a freeze grey on her before she starts greying if it's just the looks you are after.

Hmm, if it's 2 per 28 days, that's like... 24 credits per year, I think I'll buy it :D Is GG really that easy to breed out? right now I have 2 GG Mares and one 1 gg stallion, so Idk. If you use a gene tweak in a horse after it's 15 and completely grayed out, does the gray just disappear? If that works maybe I'll wait and see. I think I'll buy it rn :D

GG will always pass on grey. Gg x Gg will be 75% chance of grey and Gg to gg will be 50% chance of grey. If you’re lucky enough you can breed a GG out in 2 generations, just make sure the other horse has a g instead of G.
