Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Her eyes widened!! She bowed," I did not know that, my lady. And I believe my life is quite descent here." She answered her eyes still wide with surprise. This whole time shed been talking to the princess of the savanna!! What an honor, she hasn't even known.

"You may have been with my Uncle and Mother's pride for a short time, but you are a fine lioness. Thank you. Now, make sure to let all lions know that the Monster of Lake Tanganyika is real, ESPECIALLY the cubs!!!" She said, nodding to her, and racing back to the Great Rock.

"Yes of course, I will. And thank you my lady" she said as Princess Cali raced off. She turned and ran back to her pride. She trotted in, Simba still sleeping. She would remember to tell everyone bout the monster croc in the pond. They would need someone to protect the cubs as well.

Simba woke up, yawning, and then grunted when some gunk that was in his mane fell into his open mouth. "Oh yuck!!!!!" He spat it out and looked at it with narrow eyes. Then, he looked up at Lalita who had just come into the den, and demanded, "What is that disgusting stuff??? Lalita, where did all this come from?! I'm covered in it!!!" He growled, looking around the den, and seeing the entire place covered with the disgusting mud and crocodile saliva mixture.

Lalita smiled" I saved Princess Cali of the savanna from the monster crocodile in the pond and brought her here to give her a calming remedy and so she could rest for a few minutes" she answered, " I will clean it up, I just came back from talking to her. I was hoping to get it done before you woke" she told him with a small smile.

"Giant croc? Oh no....... not him. She okay? Not injured or anything???" Simba sighed, knowing kinda what it was like to be grabbed, but he hadn't been inside its mouth.

"No she's fine" she told him. "She left to go to her pride so that she could tell them she hasn't gotten eaten" she laughed a little "how was your nap?" She asked sitting next to him.(I'll be on in a little bit I'm gonna be busy :)

Simba sighed, stretched deeply, and then felt playful. He quickly looked at his butt and to his amazement; had no scars or anything. He was perfectly fine, just like he had been that morning before he got attacked. "Just fine. Wanna have some fun?????" He grabbed her, laid on top of her, and purred. *fades out as he wants to be intimate*

Lalita giggled and purred right back nuzzling his face " sure I'm up for some fun " she said excitedly. She smiled. Happy with what she was doing and where she was. *fading oh fading (xD)*

Gustave was super angry and very hungry as he swam along the lake shore searching for food. He had missed out on feeding on a big male lion, then a hippo calf, and lastly the princess who had cleverly gotten away. He looked, spied a few young elephants bathing in the lake, near their mother's watchful eyes, and took the chance. Sadly, one of the elephant mother's lost her calf that day, couldn't get there in time to save her baby before Gustave took it into the deep water, where she didn't dare go.

Cali reached the Great Rock and as she climbed the trail; she could hear the pride mournful roars. "Cali was a sweet, strong, and always-thought-of-others lioness. We shall miss her dearl........ Wha?!?!?!?!" Kunar cried out, Kali, Chumvi, the lionesses, and all the cubs looked up to see Cali standing at the top of the trail. "Cali?! How are you alive?!" Kali cried, hardly daring to believe she was alive, but Cali's smile convinced them that she was really was standing before them. "I fought, oh how I fought him. I forced my way up and when he tried to force me down with his tongue; I held onto one of his back teeth and slapped his tongue with my right paw. He yelled, with his mouth wide open, and I took advantage of it. Leapt out of his mouth, landed in the lake, and swam to land. But it was an island, to my horror, and I was too tired to swim 1/2 mile to the main shore. Thankfully, I got out right near King Basra's land, so Lalita was teasing that stupid croc, and when he attacked her; I leapt onto his back and got into a tree when he went up on the land after Lalita. He gave up after awhile, we ran back to her den, and she calmed me down. Then, guided back home." Cali told the pride, to which the cubs were staring at her with wide eyes, the lionesses were shocked, and her parents stared with horror. "You are such a brave young lioness. Anika told us that you shoved her back while you took Gustave on. You saved her life and that is another reason why you are my heiress." Kali grabbed her daughter and hugged her close. Then, Kunar cleared his throat, the pride looked at him, and he gave a proclamation. "No one, I repeat, NO ONE is too go near the deep river that flows out of Lake Tanganyika. Only go to drink from the watering hole, the smaller rivers, and the creek that flows from the Snowy Kingdom. This will also go for all the animals in my Kingdom UNLESS one of the sharp-eyed birds scouts out the area first. Zuza!!!!!!" Kunar said, Zuza quickly responded, got the message, and flew out to warn the animals. The river was a mysterious and marshy place anyway, but the sweetest grass grew there, so the grazing animals would have a hard time avoiding the area.

Anika pushed through the other lions and her amber eyes widened when she saw Cali. She
ran up to her and wrapped her head around Princess Cali, along with one forepaw.
" Oh Cali, you frightened me! How can I ever thank you enough?" she asked, tears running down her cheeks.

"I frightened you? That stupid Crocodile scared me!!! Dang, I never want to go through that again. And I never want to see any cubs eating a mouse alive again; it is not fun to go down one's throat still alive!" Cali said, looking at the cubs, who blushed with shame.

Anika smiled and leaned back to study Cali's face, then wrinkled her muzzle.
" P.U! You smell!" She laughed, taking a step away. Her eyes shine with laughter and pure horror that she might have lost her best friend. She gave Princess Cali a comforting lick on her head, " But you alive, that's what matters."

"All I need is a good bath. No worries. Besides, it was his saliva that smells." Cali made a face at the stench that reached her own nostrils.

Anika purred with satisfaction.
" Whatever you say." She said, standing by her side. She flicked her tail,
and padded to the overhanging rock that her cubs were under. She gasped with shock when she saw that Flynn was not in the cave. She searched the perimeter, then ran to the others. " Flynn is missing!" She cried, fear in her eyes.

Meanwhile, Flynn traveled along the Savannah, getting dangerously close to the borders.

Flynn padded across the Savannah, his pads burning under his paws and his ears swiveling absent mindedly. He wanted to get away from the Pack, at least for a little while. Besides, he was never aloud out of the camp, so he was faintly curious.
