Rulers of the Savanna pt. 2 RP

Lalita watched him, a small smirk on her face. She wouldn't tell him yet, that she could heal him. She would take her time and make it look like it was healing by itself. She walked over and lapped up some water, dribbling it over his butt." Everything will be ok" she said confidently.

"What makes you say that?! He bit off my male part........... I am of no use to you or to Basra. I don't deserve anything......" Simba cried, tears falling, and limped into the bushes.

She fallowed him, "Simba wait!" She stood in front of him, wiping a year from his cheek with the soft padding of her paw. "Listen to me, you know how I brought Basra back right?" She whispered. ",I can help you too. Even without that you are the lion for me to be with, no matter if you could have cubs or not" she said smiling drying his tears" don't cry everything will be fine".

"Brought Basra back? What on earth are you talking about?!" Simba stared at her, puzzled, and had a bit of hope.

"Oh you didn't know, he was dead, he got killed by some rogues long while back and I have the skill to bring the dead back to life, this is a secret that must never be known to anyone." She told him. " and I believe I can help you too". (I'll be back in about an hour)

Simba stared at her, stopped sobbing, and looked at his mate with such hope in his face.

Gustave growled, bleeding from his wounds, the first set from Simba's sharp claws that got him on his tender nose, and the others from the huge bite HE received from the male hippo nearly biting his tail off. "Darn hippo, should've just let me take that calf. He's got over 20 hippo calves and wouldn't let me have one." He grumbled, swimming away, and searching for food. He spied where the river flowed out of the lake and decided to swim down it into the Savanna!!!!

( Ugh, sorry, I can't recall where we were with Lena, and Anika. =( )

(I can't remember Lena, but Anika is happily with the pride. Forgot to add her to the main list. :P)

Cali happily rested on the soft and short grass below the Great Rock. She had finished helping the lionesses hunt, which wasn't successful, as the young ones still weren't doing what the leader told them to do, to her disgust. But, she knew that they had food stored, so Cali wasn't worried about being hungry.

( OK, no problem =D )

Anika tiredly walked up to Cali an gave her a friendly lick on her cheek and flopped beside her.
" I'm exhausted." She complained, rolling over to scratch her back on the ground.
" Those four cubs tire me completely out." She said with a tired purr, watching her four cubs reing peacefully under the overhang of a rock. Their chests sank briefly, then rose gently again as they slept. All but Flynn of course who slept in the corner of the cave. His sides were sunken in, and his breaths were shallow.

"I am too. Those young ones are no help on the hunt, yet we have to train them, so they will be helpful, but it get soooooo frustrating trying to catch food for the pride to eat, when they keep messing up!!!" Cali sighed, even though she was the same age, but had learned how to hunt a long time before. Kacy ran up and purred against Cali. "I'm hungry..... catch anything????" Cali rolled her eyes, "No little one. You need to go find yourself a mouse or something. The young ones messed up our hunt again." Kacy pouted, "Again??? Alright...." She said, walking away with a pouty face.

Lalita looked simba in the eyes and saw how Mich hope he had in them. Shr smiled" come my handsome fella" she said half jokingly. She nodded for him to follow her and she led him back to their den. "Lay here for a few minutes while I go get some stuff to help out with this" (he has to stay xD so that he doesn't know what she's doing) she kissed his nose and trotted off leaving him laying there, hoping.

Simba listened, laid down, and waited; hoping that she could actually do something.

Anika purred with amusement, though she knew how frustrating it was. After giving birth, she was losing weight, and she felt like her old self once again. " Hey, maybe a sprint across the grasslands will brighten your spirit!" Anika yawned, " Well, maybe after a quick nap." she lauighed softly, stretching out on the grass luxoriously.

"If I go for a run, I want to chase something. I'm hungry!" Cali curled up and rested her eyes.

Anika laughed softly before falling into the soft arms of rest as she drifted off,
her sides rising and falling gently in rythym to her friends'.
