Demi God School -

welcome to demi god school

a boarding school for all kid between 11-21 who have one divine parent.

open to children with one parent of all pantheons 

a boarding school where all lessons are to teach you to use and adapt your god powers

there will be missions, tasks and prophecies along the way that need different god powers and will test you

students come from everywhere, all sort of nationalities and places and inbetween

dorms are mixed

rules

- must have one parent who's a god from any pantheon (greek, roman, norse, egyptian, celtic, maori etc.)

- only one god parent, and must be from mythology

- god powers must be relevant to your god parent

- not all characters will have god powers

- no major god powers, all powers must be reasonable/not in use all the time/not always super effective

- there will be twists and missions, you can choose to accept them or not

- no power playing etc

- at least 3 sentences per post, and please make sure your posts allow play to continue and don't kill the RP, for example, something like 'she decided she would go to bed without dinner' makes it hard for other RPers to respond.

god power strength: depends, sometimes stronger than others, sometimes people say he's 'whispering' or don't completely comply or do as he says

description: He's tall, around 6"2, built and has hooded ice blue eyes. He has dark sandy blonde hair, short with some lighter highlights. He has a strong jawline, and broad shoulders. He's very charming and sociable, but slightly spoilt due to his power. He often faces embarrassment when his power doesn't work as well as he'd like or at all so he also has a good sense of humour as a result. He is very clever, but can also be called slightly a coward when it comes to actually engaging in battles, similar to his father. When he uses his power, his voice changes. It slows down, and becomes very sing-songy and deepens, as if hypnotising the person/people he is speaking too.

background: A son of Bragi, the norse god of wisdom and poetry, he is gifted as a poet and speaker and wants to enter into politics. He discovered his powers aged 5, when he was able to convince his friends to give him their toys and they accepted it without complaining. At first, his mother didn't think much of it until he was eleven, and was using his power on teachers and his peers and his mother thought it was time to tell him about his heritage before he used his power for bad rather than evil. He has faced embarrassment through his power not working, and it is less effective on groups of people or when he is flustered, panicked or stressed. He has used his power for personal gain before, especially when he doesn't want to do chores or homework, and he can be quite lazy. This can often backfire on him when someone mishears him and whilst completing what they think they heard him tell them to do, they do the wrong homework, make more of a mess etc.

description: Around 5"4, she has mid-length honey blonde hair and green eyes. She has a square face with high cheekbones, and a curvy athletic body. She is both introverted and extroverted, meeting somewhere in the middle. She enjoys being sociable but does find it hard to get close to people and to trust others. She can be stubborn and argumentative, and will sometimes lose control of her powers when this happens, causing glasses with water in them to fall over and splash or spill over people, or water to heat up so it's boiling and then splash or spill.

background: Born in Cornwall, England, she grew up without a mother and her father would never tell her why. Her father was a sailor, and spent a lot of time at sea. She lived in a cottage with her father and her aunt, until her father remarried. Her stepmother and stepbrother and sister were cruel to her, and this is when she first discovered her power. They used to punish her for being 'clumsy' and spilling water, until one day she burnt her stepmothers mouth when she angered her so much she made the water she was drinking boiling hot. Her powers were never fully explained to her, and she knows little other than her mother was a British Celtic goddess.
