Hey all! Lurk has created a new club called the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders Club!

I am the admin of said club and am helping to get some of the features of the club up and running. 

So welcome to the official chat forum. For now this thread can be used to talk about anything TWH. Feel free to ask questions or just brag about whatever is happening in your TWH herd. Feel free to introduce yourself, or to introduce your best/favorite horse, whatever strikes your fancy. 

oh also, feel free to register those amazing TWHs. the club has an open registration right now (any horse meeting the registration requirements will be automatically accepted into the club) and it only costs $50 to register those babes.

I'm about to start breeding and producing foals in a month or so, so let me know if you'd like to reserve one!

Just started and paired my line up~ Breeding mostly for confo, followed by Color then stats. (However they are trained daily, and schooled so stats are there!)

what colors are you breeding for lucifer? (I'm breeding for silver and flaxen). 

Originally I had planned to breed for RnRn, because I focused on what the EC gave me for my batch. But Unknown to me it threw a hidden silver (Chestnut base, I think?) And I'm in LOVE. So definately breeding for silver now!

I do love RnRn (& SpSp), but silver is to die for with TWHs. 

I used a bunch of credits to make nearly all my black and bay bases have silver 'cause I love it so much, I also threw credits at the chestnut bases to make them flaxen. *i might have issues* c:


I saw this little foal in your herd, uggh so cute and it even has my favorite legging marking combo too.

Love RnRn, not a fan of splash tbh ;P Silver is THE best. I do wish I woulda gotten some creams into my herd though >.<

I might spend some credits to get some more silver and maybe a coat randomizer or two.

He's the bestttttt. He was the reason I found out there was hidden silver xD

cream is so hard to get from the ec and to get cream with good stats for endurance and good confo is really, really hard. ;n; that's why I tend to look for low non-spec stats and throw credits at my horses afterwards

my favorite baby right now is poisoned water but I'm also in love with mountain mama both had some serious credits thrown on them but they were so worth it. ♥

if you do use some credits on your babes I'd love to see what you get as a result.

See- I didn't look at stats or confo when I got them. Simply bought 8 mares and 8 studs and went with it. I think I threw one mare out, just because confo was SO bad. But otherwise just went with it,

I'm gonna go toss some randomizers on a couple, and hope for the best xD Wish me luck ♥

Coat Randomizer gave me a Red Dun

Marking Randomizer gave me a Frame Splash, which I kinda love.

Then gave up and bought a couple silver tweaks and added some silver xD

personally not a huge fan of overo or tobiano on TWHs (which is why I used applicators on mine rather than randomizers, since I knew I wanted splash specifically). but i'm glad you got a marking that you like.
