Hi,

  - I just got back from a year long hiatus and was wondering what is young horse training and what does it do?

  - Also how do you set disiplines now?

You can read more about young horse training in this news post from when it was released. But basically it's foal training and it gives your horse stats based on how much you do with your foal once your horse turns three and you select a discipline.

You can still select disciplines relatively the same, from your horse's page, the only difference is that you cannot select a discipline for a horse until it is 3 years old and you must complete foal training before the option is presented.
