HTML Links on Forums not working

Ok so I've tried for the past few days now to bid on tag sales but when I go to put my usual character reference clicky link it doesn't work. It just puts the characters name as though I just typed it.

Its the exact copy & pasted link I have on my homepage which DOES allow me to click on it & see the character so what is wrong when I copy it onto the forum?!

Its driving me nuts not being able to buy new tags as well as making me look dumb.

I admit Im not a coder but a clicky link IS usually within my skills!

Any suggestions would be nice.

That's because HTML isn't allowed. You have to use BBcode.

So, to do a URL, it would be [*url=blahbahlink]text[*/url] Take out the *'s.

html no longer works on the forums, you need to use BBCode

images are [*img=LINK], links are [*url=LINK]NAME[*/url]
without the *'s
