Lost Foals....???

#8874 Posted on 2016-02-24 06:05:00

I had at least three foals due to be born today and they're missing...? There are no new foals listed in my horse list.

Am I doing something wrong or missed something, or did I stumble across a bug?

All the horses in my division labeled Foals in Waiting should have given birth, minus the one that's still pregnant.

This is a bug, also used to happen to Zest a lot on beta (maybe Spyder too?).

Anyway for now, until Abbey can fix the problem. To see/care for your foals go the mares page, click "View Foals" and you'll see your missing foals. You should be able to care for them from their page. It's a total pain, but hopefully Abbey can get it fixed for you soon.

Ok here's something odd. On the New Foal page is says my third account owns them!

Did you breed the mothers on your third account then move them before the births?

When pregnant mares are sold/traded the foals don't go with the mother, they stay with the person who bred them.

Hmm maybe. I did move some horses, I'm not sure if they were pregnant before or after though! But that must be it.

Thank you!

Another issue is they are all listed as having grey coats when they are all not grey coats.

Ahh. The foal is on your other account. I've fixed this bug for future foals :) sorry about that.

They both have parents with grey, it's possible the foals got that from their parents. As the foals get older their coats will grey out like their parent's. Right now they show the base color, at three it'll grey some, then at 7 grey more, and at 10 they'll be completely grey.
