ISO : 2nd & 3rd gen Vanners

#81119 Posted on 2016-12-20 08:59:08

On my spare account Schrödinger’s Cat I've decided to start a GV line. However I've decided not to purchase any foundation horses for this line, but rather to have all my first horses be from other members of the Vanner community. My Vanners will be set to driving specialty so horses MUST have birth stats which lends them to driving.

I'm most interested in 2nd or 3rd gen horses, but will considered horses with longer lines. *Know that I am fanatic about clean pedigrees and will dig all the way back to The Beginning in search of inbreeding or broken pedigrees. I'm willing to consider Foundation Vanners that are older than 15 with 550+ stats.

Things I like:
-wild bay
-brown
-pangare
-flaxen
-cream
-dun
-any markings double markings (TT, SbSb, RnRn, SpSp, RbRb, Oo)
-no marking are cool too and of course any of the "mixed" kit markings
-grey is totally fine with me, prefer Gg but will buy a GG horse too
-45+ average conformation, will go lower for a great color though c:

Paying 100*stats standard + 50k for A+ genes + 15k for At, pangare, or flaxen + 5k per dilute or marking gene.

I'm not in hurry so if you have future breedings feel free to keep my in mind for any of your extra foals (or any foals which simply don't fit into your breeding program for whatever reason). Link to horses you'd be interested in selling below and I'll take a look.

Horses which are related to Vanner's I already own will not be considered. My Vanner's Lcoked Right Now

I'd like to have ~16 horses for this breeding program before truly starting the daily minutia of caring for them.

I just had a group of 2nd gens born yesterday! I'm really excited about them . I have all the foundation parents in my retired barn with them now . In most cases, each pair only had the one foal, there are a couple that had 1 other breeding.
If you have some credits for time twisters, I'd gladly sell you any foundations from that lot that you may be interested in. Great colour variety, all driving bred and like I mentioned..I've totally tightened up my breeding practices..and as of a couple weeks ago have decided toonly breed my horses once ..on RARE occasion may breed a second time and I now restrict any outside breedings to 1 per stud. Going hardcore on the strict breeding program changes in an effort to improve the quality and desirability of all my breeds.
Here's a link to the barn

I'm actually breeding my first round of 2nd Gen driving GV today (2nd/final round in 7 days). There should be a good number of duns and creams, and I'm thinking the foals should have 400-700 stats. I'll message you once I've got those foals paired up, so two weeks.

I think I'm also breeding my foundation flaxens today as well, so there may also be some of those babies available. :)

Do you intend to breed more than 5 foals per pairing? My fear is one of my 2nd Gens get sold and get bred promiscuously, especially since I make a point to breed outside (I like throwing $$$ at other players, lol).

Okiedokie, I'll add a note to that division so I remember. Don't be shy about shooting me a message to remind me in two weeks. I switched to working overnights and my memory is taking a hit while I'm retraining my sleep schedule. :)

@ Ducky: I breed a max of 4 foals per pair from my personal lines (two is most common); the only exception to this rule is for my custom foal program which will be starting soon and won't include my vanners.

Mine aren't nearly as high-statted or pretty colored as those mentioned in the posts above, but I'm expecting two foals soon, who'll be 2nd gen.

Clarissant and Dindrane are the expecting mothers, Gawaine is the father.

All three have 60+ (if barely) conformation, 200+ stats for the mares and 300+ for the stallion, and while they are 'boring' bay, one mare is TT, and the other mare and stallion are both RnSb, so there might be pretty foal from them too.

They are very nice horses; however their stats really are much lower than I'm looking for at the moment. Once your mares & stallion are a little older with higher stats they might produce foals that would fit perfectly with my program.

Prices are fine aggie I'll send em over once payment is transferred. Ya, I lucked out when I got bought that herd of foundies.. My flaxen foundies are in my other GV barn..lots of gorgeous colours there but they're not near ready to breed yet lol...also acquired another outside herd but they're not all foundies, less colourful but higher statted

Sigh, I've hardly had time to show any of my horses lately....been busy organizing, arranging, assigning horses lol....no going thru them all and retiring all that have had 3 or more foals...it's refreshing in a way tho...a big purge to make room for custom foundy herds lol....and now, knowing that I'll only ever have 1-2 foals per pair....ah relief lolol.geez I babble too much lol pffft

money sent, can I get the horses on my 66445 account plz.

also feel free to babble as much as you want; I've been busy renaming all my horses and changing the "brand" to AG from my other two so I totally understand the "fun" of organizing horses lol.
