[ADDED] Broodmares

Could we add Broodmares to the game? It would make it a lot easier than having to post in the forums

How would this work exactly?

The owner of the stud pays to breed to the mare, and.. the mare gets pregnant? So the owner of the stud doesn't get anything?

@Abbey Maybe the foal could automatically transfer to the stud owner after the foal is born?

Not sure. I'm kind of on the fence about it.

It would be fantastic... If it could be implemented well. I'm not sure how feasible foals automatically transferring to the studs owner is coding wise. If it could work, I'd like it very much.

There's also the benefit of keeping the foal in the same division as the mother for 4 days, it doesn't need to be fed.

I'm not really sure how this could work - on old EV, sure, but with gestation added it's kinda difficult.

This is where the idea of being able to lease horses to accounts would be handy.

I like the idea, but figuring out how to get the foal to the person who paid for the breeding would definitely be a main concern. I suppose the honor system would come into effect, at least when the feature first came out (just in case the foal didn't transfer if it was supposed to).

It's definitely something I would support, though!

Perhaps an un-clickable horse could instantly be created and titled something like "Unborn" for the gestation period, and appear in the stud owner's stable. After the foal is born, he could be assigned to the "unborn" horse's id.

I like that idea, Drenarrow. I support this, but there will have to be a lot of thought put into this.

This is a great idea, and it would be really useful too!

I like the idea but may be hard to accomplish. But I have some studs and I have seen some cute mares and I think that this would be wiser to increase genetics and conformation.
