Horse Names- Male or Female

I'm looking for male or female horse names. I have a new foal coming soon and it needs a name. The person that offers the name that I like best will get $3,000.

If you wanted to reference the breed, you could use Chickasaw, Conquistador, Comanche, Shoshoni, Nez Perce or perhaps a more specific breed reference by re-using famous quarter horse names of the early foundation sires/first registrations of the AQHA such as Steel Dust, Shiloh/Old Shiloh, Old Cold Deck, Lock's Rondo, Old Billy, Traveler, Peter McCue, Wimpy, Old Sorrel, Joe Reed, Chief, Oklahoma Star, Cowboy, Waggoner's Rainy Day.

I personally tend to use mythology for naming so you could also look into Spanish, Celtic/English Folklore and/or Native American mythologies as well.

Thank you! Comanche from Saddle Club??? Lol I like Red Eclipse. BlueEyedLuv and I already had a conversation about that name. Lol BlueEyedLuv was the person who sent me the pregnant mare.

I wasn't really aware of that connection to Saddle Club; I just know it is (was?) a Native American Tribe - which might be what they chose it from, who knows. It's still an interesting connection though. :)

I do favor Red Eclipse, it's actually the one that came to mind first when I thought of the two names. I'm also partial to the astronomy portion because I'm a huge fan of pretty much everything to do with space.
