Need a little help here :D

I've got German Shepherds in my house :D I happen to be in need of a new dog door because our male exceeded our size expectations. I'd like one that has a secure feature to keep the dogs in at night and the other critters out :D Neighbor has TONS of cats lol

I'm thinking about a dog door that has an extra space to slide a piece of wood or metal on the outside for that extra security bit. Anyone know of a dog door like this?

yes, my grandparents dog door is like and average dog door the has a magnet so the flap will click shut but it also has a metal plate the will lock open or closed. sadly i do not know where it came from....... if thats what your looking for anyway

I love the thought of that door Ren :D I just know that won't work :( Unfortunately there are family members that frequent my house that won't like the fact that the dogs can come in and out as they please. I'd have to find a way to modify that particular door to keep them in or out for family visits.

(16 year old girl is a victim of a dog mauling when she was 10. The neighbors had a golden retriever that didn't like women very much that bit her in the face. She had 4 surgeries. She's terrified of any dog now.)

I feel really bad that I can't tell you where they got it, they got it a long time age and they don't remember where....sorry....

No worries :D We found it and got it taken care of. They've got an 8ft X 10Ft shed and a 10ft X 30ft run attached just for them :D :D
