PATN 1 & 2 HELP !

Hello,

I did bought some Mini's from store and some of then have the PATN 1 & 2 genes,
Only this genes do not show on the horses? Is this a mistake ?

They are homozygous recessive for leopard complex (lplp). Having dominant leopard complex alleles (LpLp or Lplp) would allow "appaloosa" white patterns to show up on the body. Recessive leopard complex alleles don't allow the white to show up. They still have a chance of passing the patterns on to foals if they are bred to dominant Lp horses.

So they need a LP gen and then you will see the PATN1 / 2 ?

Yes. That's how those genes work :)

But when i go to Create a Custom horse > Put LP + a PATN gen into the thing its still not showing something ?
This is so weird :P

Sometimes the correct image can take a while to load.

I'm looking around in custom horses (Miniature Horse), and it's showing LpLp/Lplp PATN1/2 horses just fine :/

Oehh yes it works ! Some of my Roan horses ( varnish roan) do have LPlp so i have some genes ! ♥

LpLp or Lplp with no PATN is varnish roan.

I did bought this Silver Mealy Liver Chestnut mare ( NO BREED! ) and turned here into a Minature horse ... But now i do not get a image :O
