Layout (Fully Coded)

#58826 Posted on 2016-08-04 16:34:17

I'm looking for a new layout! Now I am not picky about it really, but I do have some requirements.

♥Requirements♥
The manip/art of the layout itself must be QUALITY.
The manip/art of the layout itself should contain at least one of my OC's. Koritsi (Horse), Tigani (Canine), Utu (Red Panda). If you would like more of my characters let me know.
There must be at least five boxes, named the following; About Agapi, Agapi's Art, Agapi's Horses, Agapi's Characters, and Agapi's RolePlaying. If you can add more boxes we will discuss this after I decide who to commission.
The layout should be fully coded, but I want to be able to use it on this account while it is still basic.
All proper credits are to be clearly visible on the layout, but not overtake it. Credits are preferred to be at the bottom of the layout.

I can pay roughly 350k+, and I can also offer some art. I know it isn't much, but it is literally all I have, XD.

So please post examples and prices below!

I'm afraid what you're looking for (a layout that would be a typical deluxe layout AND work for basic) is pretty much impossible. Basic accounts only allow for BBCode to be used to set them up, which is very simple and cannot do any of the positioning etc available that can be done via the html/css that deluxe accounts can use, so no deluxe layout is going to be easily translatable into a basic BBCode version.

The only way I can see coming to a viable solution for this is to make a coded deluxe layout, then make an image-only version of it for basic that would simply display a .png file with no interactivity, because you cannot add positioned scrollboxes etc in BBCode. This would unfortunately, however, mean any text you added to it could not be edited without editing the image itself. That's the only vague possibility I can come up with that would allow you a semblance of a deluxe layout, and even at that it would be somewhat small because of the size limitations with basic.

River, I completely forgot basic accounts couldn't use HTML. Kind of podd that only deluxe can use HTML, but I guess it isn't a big deal. Thanks River, for explaining why it is pretty near impossible, ;).

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings. I think your best bet might be a nice image to go above an area where you put normal BBCode text.

Although it's not possible to have a layout like what you describe that works for both deluxe and basic, you can make two matching layouts in a similar theme. For example:
My deluxe account
My basic account

So, the nearest BBCode equivalent of what you're asking for would be a resized version of the manip or header image at the top (like where my header image is in my basic), followed by an area of text, followed by a divider image, and repeat for a total of 5 text areas. Deluxe accounts can use BBCode as well, so technically this would work on both. It's not any where near as fancy as what's possible with html though.
