Blue Acres RP

Alysia slowed Skye down to a trot then a walk, after jumping a tough course with rollbacks, tight lines, and many large jumps. "Good boy!" Alysia said to Skye, giving him a pat. Alysia noticed all the people gathering in the ring to hack their horses, so she decided to make an announcement. "Hello everyone. If you didn't already yet meet me, I'm Alysia Limberg, the English Instructor and Co-owner of Blue Acres. My colleague, Aurora Tavashta, also co-owns Blue Acres with me, she teachs western. It's nice to meet all of you and your horses, and hopefully I'll see some of you in your lessons." Alysia announced with a smile. She continued to walk Skye out, then hopped off and started walking back to the barn.

Skye felt content when he felt Alysia give him a pat, he knew he had done well. He continued to walk around as his owner gave a short speech about the farm, keeping a steady pace. He stopped when Alysia had asked him, and stood until she asked him to move. He knew after a good work like that, a few treats would be in his future.

Wendy dismounted and walked the gelding to the gate. She closed it after they walked out. As they made their way back to the barn, Wendy got lost in thought. And as always, those thoughts meandered back to two weeks before her wedding.

*FLASHBACK*

Wendy in the large, cushioned armchair, cuddled into a teal blanket. 'The Notebook' was playing on the large flat screen television that hung on the wall. It had just turned 9:00. It was dark outside and she could hear cars passing. But none of them turned into the driveway. Wendy pulled out her phone and directed herself to the contacts page. She dialed Spencer's number and waited impatiently as it rang and rang. There was no answer. She called again, and still no answer. Where was he? He was supposed to be home an hour and a half ago. Wendy called again, and again, and yet a fifth time. She called until she herself got a call. She slowly brought the phone to her head. "Hello?" She asked. "Hello. This is Sheriff Lenley. Is this Wendy Luis?" She asked, sorrow edging her words. "Yes. What's wrong? Is this about Spencer Collins? Is he alright? Did something happen? Is he-" The Sheriff cut her off. "Ms. Luis, I'm so sorry." Wendy paused. "Sorry about what? What?" The Sheriff let out a breath she wasn't aware she'd been holding in. "There was a wreck on Regis lane. There was only one person in the accident. And we've positively identified him as Mr. Spencer Collins. The car flipped eight times before landing upside down at the bottom of a ravine. He didn't make it, Ms. Luis. I am so sorry." Wendy gaped, Tears spilling out of her eyes. She hung up the phone and dropped it to her side. For the next two hours, she just sobbed.

*FLASHBACK END*

Wendy shook herself to reality. They had already walked to Baron's stable. " Oh. We're here. She realized then that silent tears were streaming down her face. She wiped them away. "Sorry, Buddy." She said sniffing. She opened his stall door. She took off his tack and slung it over the door. She pet him and gave him a treat after she had brushed him. She shut the stall door and grabbed his tack, Taking it back to the tack room outside. As she walked, she passed Heidi and Ravone ,knowing she looked like a freak with her puffy red eyes, from crying. She set his tack on it's place and walked to her car.

Ravone had been watching the woman out of the corners of his eyes, paying attention to her every move, unnoticed. When he got vision of the tears that had been streaming down her face, his manly instinct got the way of him. "Ms. Heidi, I'll be right back." he spoke in a reassuring tone, and sped towards Wendy. He gently placed a hand on her arm, letting her know he was there, then turned around to face her. His hand quickly left her arm as he pulled out his handkerchief. He found handkerchiefs were always useful, especially around the ladies. "Are you alright miss?" he asked gently, but still the Russian accent continued to linger in his voice, he slowly handed out the handkerchief for her.

"Ok" Heidi saw hm walk over to her.
She tacked Luke up and checked her girth before she walked into the ring. She wanted to to the cross country course, but it was rained out, she couldn't risk it. She hopped on the took him on the rail at a walk. Luke walked at a relaxed pace. She eased him up to a trot with no problems. She took him around the rail at a trot. Next, she effortlessly cantered him with a squeeze of her calve. She aligned herself with the jump and waited for the corner, the turned and flew over it. She turned onto the next jumps easily. She rounded the last corner for the triple bounce jump. She soared over the first one, She didn't time her 2 point, Luke back hit her tailbone and she fell off of him, her foot still in the stirrup She grabbed his mane in time to pull herself up from the jump, her hand gave out.
"Ahhhhhrg!' She screamed out in pain. Luke jumped the last ump, Heidi hit her head on the wood base of the jump, she screamed out in pain, then she was out.

Just as Alysia had finished putting her stirrups up and grabbing her reins, she watched the girl fall of her horse, hit her head on the standard and pass out. "Oh no." She thought. She put Skye's reins on top of a jump standard and ran after to help the girl. "Someone call 911!" Alysia yelled. Alysia took her pulse, and thankfully she had one. She didn't move her neck, because she knew that you never should do that. "Everyone if you could just please dismount, and take your horses back to their stalls." Alysia asked.

Sarah pulled into the driveway, her rented horse trailer behind her. She parked the car, stepped out and looked around. It seemed like a very nice place, way bigger than the old stables she had grown up in. Unsure of where she was supposed to go first, everyone seemed to be pretty busy at the ring. Finally, someone walked by and she waved. "Hey! I'm new here, my horse is inside the trailer. You think you could tell me who I should go talk with?" (anyone can answer, I don't have a particular person in mind)

Blue poked his nose out of the little window on the trailer. Finally, he could smell other horses. The trip had taken a few hours, and although it hadn't been bad at all, he was impatient to get out. "I wonder how these new stables are, and who will I be put next to..." he thought. "I hope Sarah opens this up soon"

Hedi lay there motionless. She was still out. Her leg, was bend in strange ways.

Luke was standing at the corner of the ring huffing, he turned around and saw his beloved rider on the ground, we trotted over and sniffed her head, He didn't know she fell off until after the jump, thankfully, the stirrup let out and she wasn't dragged too far. He felt horrible, he stood there, with his reins tangled around his legs from lowering his head. he stood by her side, he did notice her leg was bent in ways it shouldn't, he wants a human, but her knew enough that legs weren't supposed to be that way.

"Can someone please take her horse back to his stall?" Alysia asked quietly. After a moment, she finally noticed that her legs, bent. She new already they where both broken.

Skye stood patiently waiting for his owner to help the girl. "What happened?" Skye asked the horse waiting by his owner.

Luke stood there, horrified.
"D-d-did I do this to her?!"
"She probably hates me now,"
Luke walked to the corner to calm down, when he gathered himself, he walked over to skye.
"We went to the bounce jumps and I went ovver them fine, we went over the second one and she got off balance, Then I think she hit her head." He sped through quickly.
"What.Have.I.Done,"

Sarah noticed the commotion in the arena, and saw that there was a loose horse. Quickly, she opened Blue's window wider, checked his hay, and making sure he was fine, she ran over to the ring.
There was a girl on the ground, her legs bent awkward angles. "Holy..." she started to say. Sarah looked at the loose horse, his reins on the floor, and walked slowly toward him to avoid spooking him off. Gently, she picked up the reins and gave him a pat on the nose. "easy there, good boy." She started to walk towards the fallen girl, her trainer was by her side. "Hey, I'm Sarah, I just got here. Where should I take him?"


Blue stood patiently in the trailer, waiting for Sarah. There seemed to be an emergency, so he didn't want to interfere too much.

"Could you just put him on the same standard as my stallion, Skye? Skye's very nice, he won't hurt him." Alysia asked calmly. "You're new right? Once we get everything settled, I'll find a stall for your horse." Alysia asked patiently. Alysia pulled her phone from out of her pocket and dialed 911. "Hello? Hi, I own the barn, Blue Acres, and I have a rider here who's taken a nasty fall, she's unconscious and it appears as if both legs of hers are broken." Alysia said. She continued to talk to the operator until the paramedics arrived.

"You did nothing wrong, it was just an accident." Skye convinced Luke. "She'll be fine." Skye said, not making any promises.

Luke backed up away from the strange lady, he was afraid.
"Leave me alone!" He said, knowing she could understand. He kept backing up, and freaking out, he reared out and flipped on his back, he quickly rolled over and got up, he ran out of the ring, he stopped at ravone standing in the barn. Wild eyes and his nose flaring. His reins were snapped and the saddle was under him.
Heidi was now conscious, it hurt to move, she stayed still, groaning.
"Luuuke," she groaned while pain shocked through her body.

(Could somebody pretend to be the paramedics?) if that's ok)

Sarah grabbed one of Blue's treats from her bag and tried to approach the horse again. "here boy, you'll be fine, I won't hurt you. I just wanna help." She stretched out her hand with the treat right in the middle, trying to calm him down and grab his attention in a more positive way

(Paramedic 1): He ran over to the fallen girl, his colleagues behind him. "Yup, her legs are definitely both broken, it seems it was a nasty fall. What exactly happened? Is she hurt anywhere else?" his colleagues began taking her pulse

"Heidi don't move. You fine now, the paramedics are here." Alysia asked. "I'm not sure I just saw her fall. Did anyone see her fall and nows what happened?" Alysia asked.

Heidi listened to the voices. She didn't know where she was. The only thing on her mind was her horse.
"Was he ok?" She thought. And then, what happened rushed over her like a wave.
she quickly tried to sit up, forgetting she was in pain. Her eyes scanned the ring to find Luke. She saw him outside the ring, looking like he was going to bolt.
"Luke" she called in as strained voice. She remembered she was in pains and fell back.

Luke was thinking about the offer. Then he heard Heidi's voice. He shot his head up and trotted right next to her. Planting his feet. He pulled his head down to her, as if to calm her.
