stat equation?

Is there a specific stat equation for breeding or its straight forward

example: (sire speed + dam speed) / 2 = foal speed

Is it like that or is there something more in play?

It's not that simple anymore, ha. Takes into account quite a lot of things including heritage and things, I don't think we have worked out the equation yet.

Also, does inbreeding affect health/conformation stats?

i know that inbreeding happens to enhance a good gene but can backfire and make the chances of a bad gene appear higher.
if the level of inbreeding is high on our horses does it affect its conformation scores or if not then the stats its born with?

There is now an inbreeding block so you can't breed closely related horses.

does the inbreeding block acts only in cases like father and daughter, mother and son, brother and sister?
can a grandparent breed to the grandchild?
uncle and niece?

Try 1/2 sister to 1/2 brother or the grandparent back to the grandchild, those should work, just thinking. I've already done so many test breedings to figure out the conformation stats that I can't risk it going through.
