[a] Bareback cantering

My mare is an absolute doll bareback! I haven't cantered her bareback yet (Cantered quite a few others though), because she is green and her canter is quite rush-y.(Not to mention that my seat is utter crud rn)
Has anyone else ever done one of these?-
* rode stirrupless - yes. THE PAIN IS SO BAD WHEN YOU START AND DO AN HOUR OF IT
* controlled horse with legs - working on lateral movements and leg cues
* rode backwards - no
* spun around in saddle - yes
* some what trick rode - does double bareback count?
* swam with a horse - no :(
* rode a tiny pony - bucked me off but yep

I'm not going to ride my horse bareback until I develop his back muscles more. As he is right now, I COULD ride him bareback, but it would probably be uncomfortable for both of us.
