Just removed the laptop harddrive...

Step one to recovering files complete!

Step 2 begins when I find a compatible converter cable to turn this baby into an external until I can get a new laptop.


Yes, yes, I'd prefer a desktop, but the way my health is at the moment, it's far better for me to have a laptop. In and out of doctors. Some days can't get out of bed, etc. So, it's nice to have the convenience and portability of a laptop.


One thing is certain though, I will never buy a toshiba again.
