I couldn't resist anymore. Bred all my older pairs, for foals that aren't even going to be kept, except for two pairs, and now have 5 extra foals due on April 5th. :)

Oh well, guess I wanna see how my pairings are gonna go, and see how to change their genes to get rid of all the bays in my herd (for the Arabians that is!!) or try my luck at the EC to get only chestnuts or blacks.

I did the same thing, kinda. With some of the genes on my horses changed, it's way too tempting :))

For me, I'm trying to get rid of all homozygous EE and AA Arabians, so to not have bay's at all, and only keep Chestnut and Blacks. Ever since the different shades of Bay were taken out, I now am not crazy about Bay anymore, and prefer the lovely Blacks or shiny Chestnuts. I really want to get more Rabicano and Sabino into my herd as well. :)

well, I know whose sale barn I'll be stalking in five days ;)

I'm also on the journey to eliminate AA from my herd! I miss the pretty dark bays and the many shades of grey.

Hahahaha!!!!!

I'd appreciate that Kahzie. :) Even got two foundation fillies for sale if you want. ;)

And to clarify my meaning: I am trying to get breed the homozygous EE and AA horses, breeding them to either homozygous EE or AA, to get them to heterozygous Ea and Aa, then go from there to breed them to homozygous EE or AA horses to get either chestnut or black. :) I'll accept grays if they are homozygous for Black or Chestnut or possibly heterozygous for both. Depends.

i think i bought one of them! (but yesterday was a long time ago so the filly i just sorted might have been bought from someone else and i just cant remember D: )

i'm planning on doing the same thing next generation!
i've paired up my stores by conformation, but their foals will be paired by color - gotta get those ee/aa, Ee/aa, and EE/aa genes going strong xD

i'm hoping that the sabino and rabicano will stay along for the ride, but i'm not against adding them in with credit items later :)

I've been spreading out in both herds, buying lots of foundies for mates, which maybe isn't the smartest, but I am trying to keep my herds lines more uncommon or even rare. *shrugs*
