QH Breeding

I am super happy with the way my last foal crop (3 foals, born today), turned out for me! I got 2 black mares, both with blue eyes, one with rebicano, and 1 seal brown stud colt with blue eyes. All their conformation is above 60, and one of the blacks has over 200 stats!

Now I don't really do this game as other people do. I play this game to experiment with genetics, colours and such. Conformation is important to me, but stats not so much. I plan to be a big colour producer on here, producing roans, double dilutes, rabicano and blue eyes, etc. I breed as soon as my horses can (at 3 years), and then once they have had their first foal, I breed that as I see fit.

I have 3 accounts (as the rules allow), and this account is for breeding, my 2 other accounts are for the foals I produce. One is for studs, the other fillies. I rarely sell these foals, but if someone asks for one, I may sell it. All my prices are cheaper and most are negotiable.

I am super excited to see what my next foal crop will be like! I have 21 foals due in 5 days to my 3 year old home bred palomino roan stallion with blue eyes. 2 red dun mares of mine are bred to him, hoping to possibly get a dunalino. I am also hoping to get a cremello roan stud colt off of a palomino mare, and of coarse I am hoping most, if not all my foals will have the blue eyes.

If anyone is interested in any of my foals, feel free to contact me and I will send you the link to my other accounts.

Does anyone else have any breeding goals that aren't like the "normal" ways around here?

I think it's fine if you don't have "normal" goals! It's a game, if you aren't having fun then there's probably very little reason to play.

Just realize that if you sell, a lot of people generally do want high stats so it might be harder to sell.

I'm fairly "normal" as far as breeding goes, though i am trying to eliminate agouti in my Arabians whenever possible. I just personally prefer chestnut and black to bay, especially since we no longer have the variations of gray and bay shades that we used to.

also, I wanted to mention that the blue eyes aren't something that the game has as an inheritable feature. I think the blue eyes just come with all double dilutes and with horses that have the bald face marking. to my knowledge, white markings are random, so you'll have an equal chance of getting a white face (and the blue eyes) as you will of the other options (so a 1 in 6 chance). Good luck on that regardless though! :)

I have been having a lot of luck getting bald face, blue eyed horses! My ultimate goal is to get these horses:

- Dunalino stallion with markings: roan, rabicano, 4 white feet, bald face, blue eyes. Conformation of over 90.
- Cremello Dun Stallion with roan. Conformation of over 80.

Once I get these stallions, I am going to start breeding for better stats, and buy better mares to get these stats.

So my foal crop turned out great! Didn't get the 2 colours I really wanted, but did get a lot of other very nicely coloured foals, including perlino roan and a few champagnes. MOST foals also got bald faces with blue eyes! And I only had 1 foal with no white or markings, but great conformation.

I now have more bred mares, and in 4 days will have 2 foals born, then 5 days will have 22 foals, so a total of 24 by next week. Super excited, as I have introduced a new stud for this foal crop, a Smokey Blue Roan. He doesn't have blue eyes, or any white, but should be homogyneous roan. I guess we will see! He is siring about 1/2 - 3/4 of the foals, while my Palomino Roan with blue eyes is siring the other 1/2 - 1/4 of them.

Either way, it will be interesting to see what I get.

In 3 weeks I will have another breeding stud that should give me exactly what I am want.
