Needing mac computer help

Soooo Im probably dumb cause I can’t figure out how to find it.....but so with my school I need office for my mac and I downloaded it and all and it said to keep or move to trash and I said keep but the whole office disappeared after that and I don’t know what to click to find it. Sooo any help is appreciated cause I need to type a paragraph and send it by word doc.x and I don’t know how to save it either on my mac. 

In dire need of help with this x.x

Have you checked your trash folder?

Do you have program search function on the mac?

Yes I’ve checked the trash it’s not there. An yes I have the search function.

Have you searched for the program? Or you could hit Command+Shift+A to go to your Applications list and sort by most recently installed. If it's not there then you might have uninstalled/deleted it instead of keeping it. 

Unfortunately I don't know how to help with Office. :( But you should be able to use Google Docs to send the file in the proper format; that should at least tide you over until you can figure it out. The way to do it with Docs is to create your document, go to File, then Download, and select to save it as a Microsoft Word file (.docx). I hope this helps!
