Tracking daily stat gain

#19985 Posted on 2016-03-16 10:04:45

Out of boredom, and to how how many stats my horses are actually gaining, I started an excel sheet chock full of different formulas. It calculates the daily average, weekly average, overall daily average herd gain, max stats gained that day, and min stats gained that day. It'll take a bit of time to get the full amount of information, but it's already pretty interesting.

Monday was set as zero.
Average gained is the average daily gain of the herd for that day. Max gained is the max stats gained by a horse that day. Min gained is the lowest stats gained by a horse that day.

Tues:
Average Gained: 3.6
Max Gained: 11
Min Gained: 1

Wed:
Average Gained: 5.16
Max Gained: 14
Min Gained: 1

This does include treating.

I've been tracking my tiny show string, but on paper rather than excel.

now I'm feeling the urge to go plug the numbers in and see what I get.

I do know my minimum has been 1 and my max was either 15 or 16. obviously up from shows and down for the ones that aren't winning and are only gaining stats from treats.

What type of shows are you entering (max entry, cheapest, etc)? And what type of treats (normal or peppermints?) Just wondering, so I know the specifics for this data.

Since I don't have many unlocked horses, I've been entering shows manually, but I'm sure most members are using the autoshow. I try to enter shows with 4-5 entries that way I have a more of a probability to win, and there's at least 5 entries so stats will be given out. I'm curious which methods gains more stats. I'm sure this a bit of random luck involved too.

I don't have auto show, so I just stick to those with 4 and under entries. Treats are the bagged treats.
