Coding and display home pages

Could it be possible to make it easier to customise homepages. I am not very knowledgeable about coding so get somewhat frustrated when things don't look the way I wanted. 

BBCode is a good choice for this. The existing BBCode editor also allows you to see what things will look like before you post it. And if you're still having trouble you can post on the forums and ask for help with your code. There's usually lots of people who are happy to help out.
