I looked around and didn't see this, but I might have missed it.

note that I'm probably going to be bad at explaining this XD

So this came to mind since I want to make a post but then I don't want to post right here and now I want to wait till tomorrow( yes I could just do it tomorrow but eh). So what I have in mind is to be able to make a post and be able to save the progress of it without having to have it posted or for it to save automatically until its been posted to the forums, for example.

Say you have a role play

I think it would be a good idea! Apart from the minor fact that I don't like it when things are unorganized, and seeing that this could get unorganized pretty fast would drive me nuts... But that would be the user's issue and no one else would see the drafts, so lack of organization wouldn't be a huge problem lol. Apart from my ocd, I like the idea!

I'm on the fence, I feel that players could do this themselves in word or notebook, and post when they are finished. However as I am currently stuck just using a phone without that feature I know that it might be useful for those of us confined to smaller devices.

You could possibly use your journal (linked in the sidebar) for this purpose - you could simply save ideas or text there. I would worry that any autosave function on posts would prove to be a server strain (although I don't know that for sure), so that might not work out, but saving as a draft might be easier.

While I do agree with River on the fact that you could just use your journal, I support this because I have written out several roleplay posts only to realize that I've been logged out when I go to post them. Nowadays, I copy my posts as I go, and I do know that there is a "keep me logged in" feature (although I never use those on any site), but I still feel like this would be a nice feature to have.
