ummmm stupid question but....

you guys with all the little symbols in your stables names....how do you do it?? I found a webding that I really like...but have not a clue how to use it or anything...pffft...yep, gettin old and senile lolz...

Sometimes you can just copy and paste it into the name. If that doesn't work, try going to a symbol site and they'll be a small code for it..but usually the copy and paste works.

I tried that a million times but instead of a little tornado...it makes a funky "Y" with and accent on top>>> this thingy > Ý
dont know if its a unicode thingy or browser thingy pfft lolz Ý says the code is 00DD I type and the little tornado shows up but when I copy it I get the funky Ý

What font are you using for the unicode?

Can you link us to the symbol it is that you want?

I have the same problem over here.

I want the Right-facing Armenian eternity symbol, it's a unicode symbol, but it just shows as block.

You can also look on your character map..... I use that myself

I even went so far as to create my own little icon...but it still wont show up proper when I try to insert it pffft

This won't work Windspun, because it's not an actual "alt code" symbol. Most of these symbols you see in others' names are created using the alt key + a combination of numbers from the numberpad.

Sometimes certain browsers just won't let you see the symbol (I'm not techy enough to know why, but just know that sometimes these images only appear as squares or just don't show up at all)

ahhhhh [censored] pfft..lol....thanks for the info kite, aggie.....ya I even made my own "private character" and added it to the character map but still wont work...sigh..that tornado woulda been sooo cool infront of my horses' names...better than W$ pfft lolz... and sooooo it goes...:o)
