Geez...............

Am I the only one who finally went through her horses to see who was at least breaking even or even making small profit in the shows??? I finally did last night and this is my result:

22 horses in all are not to be shown until I get their stats up!

That's a lot of horses....... -_-

But showing is one of the only ways to gain stats right now too.

They aren't even placing!!!! How is that worthwhile?????

I have about 35 other horses that can be shown, earning money, and stats......... So, I think I'm good in that area. :)

Even though I'm sure I'm losing money, I'm still showing. Only way to move them on up those ranks to the point they finally start earning some money.

I guess so........ it's just frustrating to me

the problem is that the ones who do well are the ones closest to the stat cut-off line for advancing to the next grade, so once they reach that point they'll be losing again. i guess i just need to check daily and see how close they are to the cut off D:

I just hit this with my stores. Those who moved up into N3 stats fell off the show podium.

I'll keep showing all my horses. My store horses ebb and flow with their placings in shows, but my imported horses are more than making up for it so I'm just gonna keep moving forward. (Note that i have a few days in the red with showing; but overall I seem to be making money).

Much like in real life. If you're competing and move up to a higher level, chances are you will not do good right off the bat. That's why you keep plugging along at it. Nothing ventured. Nothing gained. ; )

Well it's physically impossible for everyone to win. I'm sure there's gonna be good days and bad days.

Plus when training is up it will help.

Okay, guess I'll keep showing them, but I tend to make only 1k to 3.7k profit at the most. :/

I lose money on shows most days, but my horses ARE gaining stats. Slowly but surely they are. As long as that continues, I'll keep showing them. I usually make the money back and at least break even by wishing at the fountain and playing games. Every day is a struggle :P

When your showing horses are all stores, there are no 'better' horses propping up the earnings. I am going to have to keep the N3s out until they are almost at N4 level and then hope they can be competitive again.

I looked through my horses again and put 12 out of the 22 back into showing. The other ten, haven't even earned me over 1k yet, and about 4 of them haven't even broken $100 dollars!!! D:

I'm definitely losing money on showing as well (recently I spend 20k and only made 9.5k back from earnings), so it kind of feels like a losing proposition, but that may change in the long run. The point and showing systems work differently now, and our strategies may have to change to reflect that.
