I propose adding an Accept / Deny button to transfers.  This would include all transfers- Horses, EVD, Credits, items, etc. Once the trade is accepted/denied by the other party, the person who sent it would get a confirmation message as to what the person did so could refer back to it.

This would add extra security and confidence in transactions and make people feel less like their items are just sent and lost.

It would also be easier for artists  on handling commissions.  They can accept a payment and let it sit while finishing the commission, then accept it when it's done.  The commissioner would have peace of mind knowing their money/items are sitting in transfers. They can see whether or not the person accepted the payment and would also tell them that their commission is done.

It would also keep people from randomly transferring you unwanted horses because they don't want to/can't afford to pay the RC fee and they see you have space for them. >_>

This is already in the game. If you go to your profile page and scroll down, you should see a section that says if you want to accept transfers or not.

@North- omg people actually do that? x.x

@Sara- Thank you, I did see that!  But doesn't that more or less stop transfers, period?  Like it's an option to block them?  For this, I'm talking about having sort of a limbo-in-transfer type thing, and not an "all or nothing" type deal.  You'd still be able to receive transfers, but have more control of when you're accepting the transfer.

So if you're doing artwork for someone, if you're someone who decides to take payment on completion, and complete the work, but then the other person drops off the face of the game, you're not stuck with artwork someone hasn't paid for.

Or let's say you're transferring a horse, but don't have enough funds to add space yet. You can have it in limbo. The horse in midtransfer could count against the sender's horse count until its accepted by the other party.

I hope that made a bit more sense!

I do believe the check box stops transfers entirely - not good for business of you're often having a lot of horses/evd/evc coming and going. I personally think the "accept qeue" is a great idea if it is not too hard for Abbey to code and implement!

And yes, people actually do that. O.o

Completely support. Someone randomly sent me a horse recently and some other random stuff I don’t even use without even saying anything. >.>

I've had people send me random (completely unwanted) horses as well.  It's expensive to raise your horse limit, and no one should be able to just dump horses on someone else without permission.  Completely toggling off your ability to transfer isn't a good solution, because I still want to be able to transfer when it's something both parties agreed to do.

Support. This would both prevent unwanted transfers, and add an additional safeguard for if you accidentally transfer something to the wrong account.

On a side note, whenever I receive horses or anything else transferred to my account out of the blue, I just send it straight back to whoever sent it to me. If it's an honest mistake, it means they get their stuff back without hassle, while if it's someone just trying to get around paying for horse limits, or avoid paying to dump horses in the rescue centre, then they get a clear message that they can't do that by dumping their stuff on me.

UB - That works well...if the person hasn't purchased new horses up to their limit (which was the case in my situation!).

This has already been suggested here. This topic will be locked due to redundancy.
