Question on Conformation

#102890 Posted on 2017-04-29 19:21:20

I am not sure if this question has been asked before but does anyone know if when you breed two horses that both have "goods" for the same part, such as hooves, will the foal have an "excellent" for said hooves?

Thanks :)

the conformation is similar to the average of the parents confomations, so you'd likely need one parent to have an excellent for the foal to have excellent.

And no, Secretariat's Seabiscuit, all breeds can have all types of conformation. A paint horse I bred a while ago named 𝕮~Angel (#536464) is a good example of this because he has awful, good, excellent, and perfect.
