The Story of Golden Anduien

While watching for yearling racehorses for sale, one of the workers in charge of that part of business informed me, the owner of Hermes Stud that there had been a two year old buckskin that thusfar had not sold in the recent yearling sales. From what he'd seen of the filly, she seemed well bred.

So I went all the way over to where Graves Stud was located, having to catch a plane or two, and went to check out the filly. She was a pretty little thing, lacking the paint markings that Hermes Stud keeps for their lines, but that is alright. She'll be needing some work.

Even so, the filly was purchased, and arrangements were made to ship her, and three others over to Hermes Stud. While making the purchase, I made the decision to call her Golden Anduien.

Now she is ready to start in her first race, and we hope she will do well.
