"Breeding for Conformation and Genetics!"


[b]Without a healthy and sound horse, success in the show ring is difficult. Conformation is one of the biggest driving forces behind breeding decisions and therefore should be here as well.

Stats are equally important when judging quality breeding but conformation cannot be improved in the show ring and stats can. Therefore, I breed first for conformation and then show/treat/ train the horse as much as possible to maximize stat increase. *All horses are entered in shows and given respective teats daily. Horses do not enter into the breeding program until the age of 15.

[i]Producing horses with the following breed standards:[/i]

Priority order:
1. Conformation
2. Stats
3. Color

[u]Andalusians[/u]- Dressage (Show Jumpers coming soon)

Conformation:
-75% Conformation or higher
-Conformation scores of "good" or higher.
-NO poor or awful conformation scores

Stats:
- Minimum of 300 stats at birth (will increase over time)

Color:
-Homozygous for Cream
-Cream Carriers
-Dun Carries
-Minimal White markings
-No grays

Highest Produced Conformation Score in Breeding program: 87.54
