The Story

Welcome to "Traverse Town" where we currently breed gray endurance Arabians. All of our horses have our stable brand (symbol for pi) within their name.



I am an early '80s baby that is addicted to anime and is considered a "moderate" gamer chick. Located in British Columbia, Canada since 2013 I started up my own Pet based business* which has slowly begun to grow. I currently work the odd shift doing catering to help pay the bills but hopefully soon I can rely solely on my business to pay my bills!



I have been playing online horse SIMS & RPGs since the mid 90's. I originated on HorseLand around 1995 and had a 1*** digit account which I played on until 2001 at which point it was "hacked" and I played on a higher numbered account off and on until 2005 or so at which point I left and have never returned. Not long after leaving HorseLand I discovered an email based TB Racing SIM which I eagerly joined only to have it close for recoding within mere weeks. Little did I know this game would change things dramatically for me. Shady Hill Farms (I believe was the original game name....might not as I have a horrid memory) opened up its open "Alpha" stages to current members of the prior game and I quickly fell in love with the game and built up my stables. The game entered its Beta stages and held the championships at which point my stable Prairie Lily became well known. PL Generosity won the Sprint Turf championship and a second colt, PL Demanding placed third in the Mid-Distance Dirt race. Just as things looked good tragedy struck - the game gained such popularity that the host server was overloaded and crashed, destroying the game. With the promise of reopening as an even better game I checked daily, patiently waiting for the game to reopen. On the first day "Equination" opened I joined up and quickly became hooked. Anime Acres #63 quickly became known for the high quality studs & for being contenders in the coveted cup races. As a huge supporter of the game I quickly became the first to upgrade to a Premium account, the first to have a game email and was quickly given the job of moderating the forums & chat rooms. This was followed by administration duties and eventually meeting the games owner.....after that fateful day EQ radio was born only to quickly be shut down, and not long after I had my powers and position within the game revoked and I was banned from the game over personal issues with the owner. Once again #63 was the first to do something in the game...I gave my accounts to a friend who quickly decided they also would be now leaving the game after 4yrs of play. Upon seeing the ToS for the game we opted to try and sell off the horses & accounts for USD. There was no rule against this and, as such, my beloved Anime Acres was sold off and my horses were sent one by one to new homes.



I ended up jumping from game to game, never being able to stick around longer than a few months, a year at best. I simply didn't TRUST anyone anymore. As soon as I became "popular" (or in a few cases was asked if I would become a moderator) I would just leave for another game. I was searching for what had drawn me to love Equination in the past but was unable to truly find it....until I got a fateful email announcing a new "upgraded" version of a game I had joined and quickly stopped playing in 2009....Equiverse. I tried it out once again and quickly discovered exactly what I was looking for....I had my community back.

Nov 23, 2013: This week has simply been AWESOME! Thursday the workmen removed all the fans/blowers etc so it is now QUIET in the condo so we can actually sleep....talk....and hear our own thoughts! My business card holders FINALLY arrived after 2 weeks of waiting! I received a phone call about dog walking (BONUS, my first long term customer!) AND I managed to go to a charity dinner (funds to help pay vet bills for a GSD) and ended up meeting lots of people there....and leaving with an empty business card holder! Other news? Yesterday my coursework arrived so I can start to work on getting my certification in pet sitting, yay! Everything is starting to fall into place!!
